Does not warn you that this is a multi hour non exitable quest before you start it. Not worth your time, I got maybe a half hour in and its all mundane chores.

This game is genuinely the most fun I've had in a video game in a decade.

After the first couple hours and with a province or two cleared you'll realize thats it. The only content left is to clear more provinces. Theres no story, no new gear, just the same gear with bigger numbers attached.

Extraction shooter but with no life to it. The gunplay is alright, the customization is pretty meh,the progression is a chore, and the very limited PvE enemies only exist to be complete bullet sponges. To me there is nothing that keeps me coming back to playing this game.

Theres just nothing to to but mine and build ships.

If you want a better mining experience go play Space Engineers.
If you want a better ship building experience, go play Avorion.

Performance is ♥♥♥♥ on a high end machine, gunplay sucks, and I really don't like the hero based shooter stuff.

Horrible monetization, with many features of previous halo's delayed until mid to late 2022.

-No gamemode selection
-Limited gamemodes
-Weapon sandbox needs work, some guns under perform to the point of uselessness
-Player collision seemingly turned off for allies and foe
-Vheicles are weak
-Controller players at a complete advantage with aim assist
-Melee inconsistency due
-Hit registration issues

September 2022 update:
Still bad, gotten worse with the monetization

Pretty typical queue times for an MMO launch imo

Crafting is fun
PvP is great
but best of all PROXIMITY COMMS

A bit buggy but a very welcome competitor to the Civ Series
