Honestly, I'm very glad I waited on playing this game, given how shaky of a release it had with it's poor optimizations, overheating and stressing hardware, and even in some extreme cases, consoles were getting bricked. 4 years later, most of these problems are gone. To my understanding, this is the developer's second major release right after The Witcher 3, so I'll cut them a little slack. But what can I say? This was truly a gem in it's own right, easily one of, if not, the most fun single player FPSs that I've played, and I hadn't even played the game with Phantom Liberty which I heard is a must have DLC. It was so fun in fact, I actually WANTED to 100% my first playthrough. You have so many options not just in dialogue, but in how you wanted to play the game like whether you wanted to play out a mission in silence, or going in guns blazing. This was another game where I felt very attached to the characters, but more so than just liking a character in one regard, it's typically in a more multifaceted sense. One character in particular had me loving them in one moment, then hating their guts in the next, to feeling no remorse for them, and then feeling sad for them. It's a rollercoaster of emotions that a frickin video game character put me through, and I loved every moment of it. There were melancholic moments, shocking moments, and straight up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy moments, any expectations you might have before going in? Well, let's just say it's good to keep an open mind.

All in all, I'm raring up for the sequel, and let's just hope the release goes more smoothly next time :)

Finally! KH graces us with its simple cleanliness. No matter how many times I need to buy this collection on different platforms, it's worth every penny and playthrough for me and remains my favorite series of all time. But I will say... GOODBYE EGS! May your heart be your guiding key

Edit: I do have an issue where the game crashes roughly after every hour of gameplay. I'm not running any AMD hardware, no mods, set to 60fps at 1080p, and I've only tested this with KH1 as this is the game I'm currently playing. It's inconvenient but I have been able to just save and restart the game before it happens. I'm hoping they will fix these issues and for AMD users alike.

Edit 2: Crashing persisted in Re:Chain of Memories as well but I believe I found the solution. Turns out in the NVIDIA Control Panel my preferred graphics processor was set to integrated, so switching it over to the GPU seems to have stopped the crashing after a few hours in. So check the control panel under "Manage 3D settings" if you're having similar issues.

Typically, I'm the type of person who doesn't enjoy turn-based games. I can't do games like Pokemon, Persona, XCOM, Fire Emblem, or anything of the sort. This game has been that exception for me. I can't remember the last time I have been so invested or immersed in a game's universe. Of course, having played DnD with friends has been the main motivator to trying this game. While it may not include the full breadth of the universe of DnD, Baldur's Gate 3 does an absolutely fantastic job at capturing as much of it as possible, while not making it totally overwhelming. I think one of the biggest advantages that this game has is just the fact that it is DnD, but in video game format, when DnD irl can take a lot of setup and preparation. That said, the inclusion of multiplayer is an absolute dub' for a game like this.
Although I put nearly 200 hours into my first playthrough of this game, attempting to absorb every detail that this game has to offer, I still couldn't help but want more, and that is how good this game is to me. The characters and how you are able to interact with them are probably the best part of this game. How you're dialogue choices affect you relationships with different characters, facial expressions and body language, romancing different party members, character-focused quests, character variety, and the character developments which can also be directly influenced by your actions. I have yet to play another game that has this much depth with its characters and the mechanics that surround them.
This game is by no means perfect. It does have lots of issues with different bugs and unintentional sequence breaking, which can be exacerbated with the inclusion of mods (I did start my playthrough with mods like limitless party, and other QoL mods), of course this is expected. Despite this, it has been relatively tolerable and didn't really affect my game experience that much. I know Larian has already put significant work into making sure this game runs as efficiently and effectively as possible, but I do hope they continue to bug fix as much of this game as possible, because they truly did create a gem, albeit in need of a bit of extra polishing.
Overall, this game isn't just a game, it's an experience, and while it may not be a brand new experience, since 1 and 2 have been around for some time now, giving this series a fresh new paint job with some added features here and there with today's tech certainly makes it feel as such and I do now understand why this game won GOTY. I am very glad to have played this masterpiece.

More plz Larian. 8.5/10

Early Access Review
If you are a Super Smash Bros Melee player, you will pick up this game very quickly. I really do enjoy this game and I appreciate what Dan did to make it unique and not just a flatout Melee clone. It takes some getting used to at first if you come from playing Melee. Instead of shielding, you have to parry instead which can also reflect projectiles. One thing I wish was in the game is grabbing. I always have the urge to grab but it never works xD. But other then that, it's a great game all around. Awesome music, and awesome colors. 9.7/10

Upgraded to Windows 10, no longer works. Waste of $60. Fix this problem Rockstar or you permanently lose a customer...

Edit: Fixed.... About time...

Edit: Ok... Broken again...

I've only gotten about 2 hours into the game before this review. So far, the atmosphere in the game is fantastic. The music, the artstyle, and of course, who could forget the story? So far, knowing Square Enix and knowing they published this game, it has to be pretty promising. I'm hoping to see some good stuff that DONTNOD will be creating and I'm very excited to continue playing this game, and that is an understatement. By the way, if I had the same ability as Max, I would rewind just so I can purchase the complete season. But in all honesty, Season 1 itself was definitely worth the $5. :)

*UPDATE 8/23/15*
This game has absolutely blown me away simply with it's suspenseful, and surprising plot (and that's an understatement). Even playing games that have a thicker, more complex plot, which might I add are the type of games I thouroughly enjoy, this game can easily make it up there as one of my more favored games of all time. I can't wait for episode 5 any longer. I want it to be released now!

The game may have been short. But this is one of the best games I have ever played while taking into consideration of it's length. The compelling, and suspenseful moments in this game are breath-taking and completely changed my view in this bit of the MGS storyline. Worth the 13.49 spent in my opinion, even if it were at full price. 9/10
