There's no role playing here. The game expects you use an external guide to create a min-maxed character with no room for customization or creativity, so you essentially have to use someone else's character, and I'm not exaggerating. Also dying has zero consequence, you just get sent to your last save, which at worst means losing a couple minutes of progress.
The devs think this is completely fine.

Do not compare this game to classic fallout; because fallout is actually good.

What would've been an amazing game ruined by a combination of garbage combat and never ending pirates, which cannot be defended against as they always beeline straight for your ship, ignoring any heavily armed battleships or other threats nearby. It feels like they exist solely to sacrifice their lives just to detract from your enjoyment as much as possible.

Also, despite seemingly still being developed, nothing new and meaningful is actually being added to the game, making it effectively dead, although that's secondary to me, as there is enough content to enjoy (if it weren't for the pirates).

And I thought the first one was repetitive..

-Very realistic
-Has depth
-Not repetitive at all

This could have been such a good game.
-Calling the singleplayer campaign a "campaign" is an insult.
-More bugs than features.
-Devs respond to accusations of not delivering on promises with essentially "we never promised to make a good game.", and then act surprised when new kickstarters they create fail.
