Edit FROM that edit:
Valve has actually started doing more! It's getting better, and I am glad to say that I actually have thought about finally changing my review to a positive one! You're still ways off, but right now, it's enough to make this review go from a negative to a positive! What is going to be of the #FixTF2 protest now? I'm unsure but I am glad to say that we finally had something right happen with this game over the last five years that wasn't just an empty tweet!

Edit from last time:
I'm actually somewhat proud to say that Valve has actually done something about the TF2 bot crisis, but their work is still not over. VAC is far from perfect, yes, but it should still have an opportunity to be better than whatever it is now. The next thing I hope Valve does is launch investigations into the bot hosters, not just the cheater bots, but the idle bots as well. We're one step now closer to a brighter TF2, but it's still gonna need some time. And a lot of investigation into those bot hosters.

What happened to you, Valve? You're letting this game die while you're acting like you're the leader of a town that is ignoring the cries for help in regards to this bot-pocalypse! We legit want to have fun in casual pubs and not have to worry about looking over our shoulder for bots!

People are either turning to community servers or different games entirely because it's not fun to get into a bot-riddled lobby that's full of mic-spamming aimbots that are legit designed to show off the most horrific content that could be imaginable!

Why are you okay with this?! Why are you okay with letting one of the greatest classics of the late 2000's die?! We want to go back to the point where we could play the game in pubs and have fun at the same time! It hurts to know you're letting one of the most dedicated communities in gaming down.

PLEASE... for the love of all that is holy... #FIXTF2.

You are evil, and there is no reason you should even be listed anymore.

This game is fantastic. I love Half-Life 1, and I was excited to play this remake. It made me interested to see how it would be as a first time player of this game. I loved every single second of it, and I could actually grow attatched to some of the characters that would assist you in the game, which was something the original Half-Life never really did.

The graphics are beautiful, the physics are definitely beautiful, and the fact that Black Mesa Deathmatch was built in is absolutely amazing. My only real issues are the bugs, such as a missing valve to get the meat hauler near the air vent, as well as a guard not being able to get out of the door, and this happened on my second playthrough of this game. It's still fantastic, and I can't wait for Xen. I hope for the best for this game.

It's amazing how it went from a mod for Half-Life 2 to a standalone game. Great job!

[UPDATE TO THE REVIEW]

I'm even more proud of how far this remake for Half-Life 1 has come! Xen is beautiful, I really like the new UI for the menu, and I really like some of the more subtle changes to the military grunts, as I have noticed that their voices are actually lower pitched and a bit muffled when wearing a gas mask. As for the bugs that I've mentioned before, I think they've been patched out, and I was able to find the valve to get the meat hauler near the air vent. Awesome game! 9.5/10!

Oh the nostalgia! I've loved this game ever since I got it back in 2009 originally, and here we are 2017, IT'S STILL AMAZING!!!! 17/10!!! (Yes, I know that's not an actual score, deal with it.)

Since I couldn't get Fallout 3 to work, I decided why not try New Vegas? Holy crap, it is amazing, even though I've only played twelve hours of it. It really gets you to use your brain and customize what you want for your character. I definitely recommend a game like this if you want to get your brain working.
