This game is so much better than I was expecting in pretty much every way. Graphically, its on par with Diablo IV, mechanically its on par with Path of Exile, in terms of UI, features and things that make the game smoother and friendlier, its got more features than all the dungeon crawlers.
Undecember is an extremely fast paced dungeon crawler with a fully voice-acted compelling story and solid cast of characters. On top of that ... its free. Anyone who is a fan of this genre will love this game. No complaints.

Last Epoch is every bit as fun and customizable as its predecessors, like Grim Dawn, Path of Exile, Torchlight and Diablo. In fact, I'd argue that with the exception of Path of Exile, I've never played a dungeon crawler with as much customization and flexibility as Last Epoch. It's super fun and addicting and there are infinite possibilities. You really get to feel how powerful you can become by discovering the best synergy and combinations. Highly recommended to all fans of the genre, and isometric games in general.

A surprisingly fun, fast paced MMO with innovative systems lots to do, a working marketplace with no inflated prices and no spam! Really solid game for launch. I like this title more than Bless Unleashed.
The character creator is fantastic too.

I am completely blown away by Solasta. I saw trailers and read reviews, but never expected it to be on the same level as a huge budget game like Divinity or Pillars of Eternity. It is. Its absolutely fantastic. If you love this genre, Solasta is a must-have. It perfectly emulates D&D 5e, while also still having the added benefit of reloading a save if you screw up so bad you want to smash your computer. Thank goodness for that haha.

Fans of modern Classic CRPGs like Might And Magic: X Legacy, Lords of Xulima, Dungeon of Nahelboek etc will really enjoy this game. It's got all the RPG elements you crave and love, including a fast-paced and intuitive familiar turn-based combat system, excellent witty banter with fantastic voice acting, and lots of loot!

Basically Divinity 3, as you'd suspect - however all of your spells and abilities directly translate to D&D 3.5. It's very cool being able to play D&D as a video game. Sword Coast Legends was fantastic, but this translates more directly to the level progression from the table top game.

I however would not recommend playing this now as it is EXTREMELY buggy, far far more so than Divinity was in Early Access. Save files sometimes don't work, the game crashes frequently, there is a massive lag in some combat scenarios where enemy npcs just stand there for upwards of 30 seconds, there is lag between interacting with objects, cutscenes are janky, textures are buggy, etc. It feels more like beta than early access. Maybe they are one in the same. The game however, is excellent.

I'm enjoying this game so far, I'm not sure where all the hate is coming from. I was a huge fan of Torchlight 1 and 2, as well as Diablo, Grim Dawn, and all of the loot-based dungeon crawlers. This game seems to fit right in with all of them.

I'm playing on Hard, and I find the difficulty pretty good. Normal enemies are pathetically easy, but the unique mobs put up a bit more of a challenge. One issue I have is that a lot of your attacks are more or less the same thing reskinned, but you get so many that you can just use the more useful ones.

One thing I will say is that the music for this game is obnoxous and grating and so are a lot of the sound effects.
The pets are constantly making noises, and your movement makes annoying noises as well. I also wish there were more options. There's no subtitles option, no accessibility options, very few key binding options, etc.

Wolcen is a great game with fantastic art, addictive gameplay, loot up the wazoo and a fully voice-acted story with cutscenes. The only drawbacks to this game is the serious balancing issues with Single-Player mode. About 30% of the bosses were not designed for a single player campaign are are almost literally impossible to beat without other player's support. When I say almost impossible, I don't mean Dark Souls difficult, I mean literally impossible -- like it just simply cannot be done. And that's really annoying. Furthermore, the endgame boss is glitched so bad you can't even finish the game. I had to watch the ending on Youtube. But overall, i'd still say its worth playing. I had a lot of fun. There are so many skills to choose from, its almost overwhelming!

If you are fans of Dungeon Crawling/Loot based Adventure RPGS like Pillars of Eternity, Divinity: Original Sin, Drakensang: The River of Time, Might and Magic: X Legacy, Torchlight, and so on, then this is for sure a game for you.

Ember is a fantastic little gem with a surprisingly excellent story and fun gameplay. It starts out very hard, but stick with it and you'll figure it out.

It's not terribly long, perhaps about 4-5 days of 2-3 hour play intervals, but it's a lot of fun, and absolutely worth the excellent price. Now knowing what it was like, I'd have even paid $19.99 for it.

So naturally, as a smaller, cheaper game, you're not going to get the character creation, infinite array of spells, or super-customization of the larger aforementioned games, but you will get a compelling story, and smaller degrees of each of those things.

In Ember, there are 3 primary stats, STR, INT, and DEX, and a two weapon types affected by each. You're equipment determines your skills, of which you can have three equipped at a time -- and there aboure about 35+ skills to choose from, each of which can be useful in different situations. Healing in this game is very important, and everyone can do it, as there technically are no classes. It may sound slightly underwhelming vs what you are compared to, however, seeing as how games like Divinity and Pillars take YEARS to make, this is a phenomenal game to play while you wait. Trust me.
