After playing fishing planet for a month I was really excited about this game. Unfortunately the only thing good is the open world.
The actual fishing is rubbish. An arcade style “STRIKE”, lines that just appear suddenly reeled in if you strike early and the dumb casting method make this game more arcade than a simulator.
I’m out.

Hey there, I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your time on our game. However, we've patched the game quite a lot over the last couple of weeks/months and addressed a lot of issues (including many water visual upgrades). Our latest patch adds ‘Authentic Fishing’ mode, which gives options to remove the Strike indicator and audio for a more authentic fishing experience. Also, we've got new content/features (Daily/Weekly Challenges, Activity Feed, Quick Chat, Zoom to Float & News Feed), quality of life updates and bug fixes, you can check our updates here:
