buckshot roulette is a fun take on russian roulette in video game form, after the multiplayer update all i think the game needs now is better controller support.

One of the better instances of a survival genre game.
You can have a ton of fun with just the base game and its cast of characters.

Reccomended mods are mostly QOL with the caveat of island adventures a mod that ports the DS single player dlc ship wrecked into DST. Would keep an eye out for their version of hamlet. Tons of fun to get into. Treat each death as a learning oppurtunity and you'll have a ton of fun.

If you enjoy something that is Half Life 1 Meets SCP foundation Mythos with a hint of 7 days to die and project zomboid to add mechanical flavor.

the only major gripes i have with the game are QOL related and The game not being unfinished yet. (Security sector! Let me In! LEEEET MEEE IIIIIN!)

Coop is particularly fun though SP is quite doable too.

>Vomiting in the Kitchen all over the food
>Brother asks if i've got the radiation sickness
>we can cure this really quickly he said
>he then pulls out a knife
>vomit again all over him before i can respond
>our house looses power

God i love this game.

really good out of the box pixel art program. I use it for making sprites for my doom mod currently.

if you enjoyed fallout or skyrim you'll like it since it is a evolution of bethesda's previous games with mechanics from both fallout or elder scrolls present but also has some unique innovations in it's game design

as far as quests go starfield has probably the strongest side quests of any BGS game yet.

Ubi decided to rerelease this corpse of a game on to steam. would have loved to see this game get more support but as it is now it provides you a decent way to get a bunch of operators in siege somewhat easily for as long as that lasts. i got my enjoyment out of this game so far. managed to get all ops maxed on XP then kind of fell off playing unless they were doing an event. real shame they didn't continue updating it and try to cater towards the Thunt/PVE loving side of siege players more. If nothing else this game servers as a fun time capsule of how siege used to look/feel before some the updates it got. stuff like the old armor system, old gadgets like lion, and then seeing how overtuned they made some operator gadgets then seeing aspects of that arrive in siege later was interesting. from what i understand this game was built of the engine version that siege used around Y4~.

also find it to have been a shame that they didn't include the OG outbreak mode in this as a bonus set of levels.

also felt that the tactical shooter feel they try to sell with the TC IP falls a little flat when you don't allow consequences for poor planning/teamwork. so if your fuze decides to cluster charge the room your in it causes no problems where in siege it could result in you and a bunch of other gadgets on site or even a defender getting killed.

there's other things like restricting the tactical realism hud choice from an option menu selection to being part of a gamemode. DRG allows you to do this and so did siege so why take it away from the players?

Overall I feel this had great potential the same sort of feeling as siege in Y1, however instead of trying to stick to their gun and continue improving the game like siege has Ubisoft has decided to throw in the towel after a year of lukewarm events that felt as if it was content recycled or intentionally cut from the base game, then cut in half again. so instead of 4 operators over 4 updates with a couple new enemy types each update we instead got 2 new operators, and some new enemies with more operators that were supposed to come forever cut.

Since I don't recommend this game here some that i would.

if your looking for a fun tactical shooter vs a demonic supernatural threat consider Hideous Destructor it's free and its a mod for the freedoom project (but also the OG doom1/2) it works great as a SP game, a coop game or a MP game.

If you wanted a more L4D like experience with more of a focus on coordinated team play consider Back 4 Blood.

lastly if you wanted a more starship troopers experiance but with dwarves consider Deep Rock Galactic. it harder to find a more fair and no BS developer than this game has. asides from the game purchase the only other things to purchase are cosmetic DLCs for your different classes outfits/weapons however there is plenty of good looking free weapon skins that you can use that look just as good. the only difference is in the theme of the packs vs fr33 skins.

saw this and was excited to be able play an arkane game in coop this is a terrible experience. guns feel animations feel like first attempts that never got refined. frame rate is abysmal on low settings and the frame pacing feels choppy as hell.

this game is undercooked and needed at least another year to polish and get functional. as of now i'd consider this an early access release.

Fun game but very intimidating for new players best played with a group of friends so you can be better taught how to play.
