This isn't a well thought out or complex review. What I will say is this, you have literally no reason to go about your life, without this game on your system. It's a platform for for ideas and possibilities that is almost endless. A wonderful workshop community, all the options in the world.

This isn't a game, it's every game. Trust me, this is worth every red cent you spend on it.

Much like Jackbox, this is a browser game, with one person streaming. I usually stream to my discord and we play together. It's refined, no fuss, simple and easy to approach. It's easy to skip tutorials and get right in there and the Subtitle mode is truly amazing. If you like Jackbox, or fun party games, this is a must buy! 3-6 players for best experience.

An absolute mess of a game, took ages to finally get it to notice there was no camera plugged in, on finally getting it to do that, it crashed at menus. I've asked for a refund, I've managed to play about five minutes in an hour. It's actually ridiculous that steam or EA allows this sort of broken, unfinished mess to stay up and make money. For shame.

Where to begin? This is the only sports game. Or at least the closest to being an actual sport. It's a physics based game, where you have absolute control of your vehicle.

Unlike Fifa or other sports games, it's not simulating what it looks like on television, there's no commentators, you're not herding a team. You control your direction, your speed, your momentum the whole deal. As such it's a game of milliseconds and millimetres. A moments hesitation can be the difference between failure and glory. Yet, even with a crushing disappointment, the game is filled with moments like this. You're in control, in a way you're not in most games. Any exchange can lead to immense pressure, immense pride, immense disappointment.

It presents as football in little cars, but it's so much more. It's a new sport, one that you play with any other platform, it's accessible and beautifully made and curated.

Buy this game, it's great solo, local, with friends or otherwise. It's everything you've heard of and more.

I owned Fez on a console previously and had to buy it again. What posesses someone to buy the same game twice?

Magic. That's what. That's what Fez has, that's what it is, magical. It is at once both beautiful and accepting, tricky and thoughtful, pleasant and surprising.

It is a platformer, with an edge, a secret you gain early on to allow you to manipulate the entire game world through rotation, allowing for all sorts of perspective and point of view puzzles. This isn't the only trick up its sleeve, from its deep mathematical base, it covers code breaking and solving, riddles, phrases and time. All throughout a wonderfully designed retro graphics world.

The visuals are part of the big appeal for Fez, it is a warm and varied palette of older styles, similar to 16 bit graphics, wonderful locations and animations, all lovingly hand crafted.

The soundtrack is one of my very favourites, it is varied, atmospheric and contextual. It always works and feels relevant to the location or situation you find yourself in.

All in all, there is nothing bad I could say about Fez, it becomes quite difficult to fully comprehend (if that is possible) but there are many resources and a strong community poring away at its intricacies. 10/10.

A wide, expansive and creative game, lots of fun with melee combat, has its flaws but great fun with a friend!
