For the new players, the first gaming experience might feel a little toxic and unhealthy and I don't recommend playing it solo in the beginning. Play with a friend. It'll take some time to really get the hang of it, but once you're in, you're in for life.
I love CS:GO because it made up some of the best moments I've had with friends, it wasn't really about the skills, but the good times I had.
