A huge improvement over Dying Light 2. The Beast has a much more interesting story and the side quests are rewarding and are more interesting. Finally didn't have to skip mountains of dialogue and we got a better grappling hook again. Decent framerate and performance on my 5070ti at 1440p but DLSS was pretty necessary at max settings and that's without ray tracing being implemented yet. 8/10, kinda wished the skill tree was a bit bigger and the some of the combat elements need to be seriously tweaked (grabbing is overcooked, mod it for enjoyable experience)

Banger. First real playthrough of any ES game, and it makes me want to finally play Skyrim. While the technical performance of the game needs some work, it's just ok enough to keep me going with minimal problems. Any 8GB GPU users go Medium on textures and turn off Hardware Lumon- stopped my crashes.
Visuals: 8/10
Gameplay: 9/10
Performance: 6/10-Requires Mod for optimization + DLSS/FSR + Decent hardware for playable experience atm of posting.

Satisfied my natural instincts. 5 Dollars for a good 2-3 hour experience

While I DO recommend the game, there are many points that take away from this game.
-[The dialogue writing is interesting at many times]. By interesting, I mean D&D from Game of Thrones could have written the script for this game. Characters act out of character or are just illogical constantly and then the game kinda just makes you go with it. That being said, Deacon (main character) is fairly solid and likeable but when they talk about his past, they make him out to be such a bad guy but over the course of the story he was nothing but helpful and dedicated to each camp.
-[The pacing of the game is slow]. Like really slow. On many occasions, you would travel a fair distance just for a couple sentences of dialogue and then that"s it, the missions over. And then you must proceed to go to another just the same.
-[There are really not a lot of reasons to explore the huge amount of things in the map other than the secret ending] (which is apparently really cool but you have to 100% the game to do it). What I mean is that there isn't really cool stuff beyond the collectibles and crafting components.
-[You will grind]. You want the good weapons, you gotta work for it. That being said, its not that bad, but if you have no patience for repetition, it will get old pretty quick. Generic clear an outpost, capture a person on motorcycle, or save someone getting attacked or captured are probably a majority of the side and main missions.
-[The story is good]. Deacon is a fairly interesting character with a good enough background to make for a story that makes sense and gets better as time goes on. This will keep you playing if nothing else. But also fighting the hordes is the most satisfying thing to do.

Overall: 7/10

Best.Game.Ever.

This game kicks so much a_s_s. Same feel as Dishonored but a lot more fun. Beware, you might rage a few times
