Steam Deck compatibility information.

The game is a bit too intensive to be smooth at 40/45hz on the LCD/OLED at 800p. Drops in frame rate occur down to 20-25fps on occasion. Battery life at 800p was about 1:30 on the LCD so I'd estimate 2hrs on the OLED. It is still mostly playable at 800p but the best settings for a mostly* smooth 40/45fps are below:
- 960x600
- Low FoV
- Low Settings
- Steam Deck FSR 1.0
- (These settings also boost battery life)

On the OLED I estimate this will give a mostly* smooth 45fps. I don't have one so cannot confirm.

*Mostly caveat is that with these setting the drops to ~25fps are rare. I think it is probably associated with loading assets. There was one instance with heavy particle effects where the frame rate dropped to 10fps in a cut scene. Otherwise with v-sync it stayed at 40fps on my LCD.

Warning: Use Proton 7!
- Proton Experimental crashed frequently, as do other versions.
- Proton 7.0.6 was the most stable with no crashing. Proton 7 is the most compatible version with the Unity engine, which the game uses.
