Been playing Hunt for over 4 years. I always thought the UI was awful and needed a revamp. Finally, a UI update comes and they do the impossible. They somehow make it worse. Like so much worse than it was before. They also added skin 'rarities' which do not benefit the game at all other than cause fomo. Game is going downhill. Looks like a mobile game now between the terrible UI and the scummy monetization efforts.

That being said, the new map is incredible and the gameplay is as good as ever. The new UI just makes it really hard to sit down and enjoy the game.

Bought it on sale for $7.50 and thank god thats all I paid. It's a mindless button masher. Not amused by it at all.

4.5.0 is the rock bottom point for the game. The devs decided to implement a new HUD and new animations despite overwhelmingly negative feedback from their player base. The devs do not listen to player feedback and have their own agendas. The health of the game is piss poor, each patch introducing new bugs on top of the ones that have been around for years. BHVR is only interested in cheap ways to make money and not the overall state of the game. It is unsustainable. I strongly urge you to find another game to play. After so much time wasted in this game I think it is time to move on.

I played this game a ton on console, but the PC experience is 1000x better. Such an amazing game with unprecedented content and things to do. So many different ways to play the game, so many rewarding experiences. The only con is that the game is highly addictive.
