This game is hectic as ♥♥♥♥ when it gets going. Damn near gave me a heart attack and sleep deprived one of my buddies.

10/10. Would suffer again

The Good
Monster Hunter World. Ah, the first title for the PC and probably the one we needed.

Monster Hunter is as the name suggests, a game about "Hunting" "Monsters" funnily enough.
The game is hard, that's just a fact and it'll take hours and hours and hours to get good at it and get down given most monsters have different moves and different things to take into the equation. But lets keep it simple, it's hard but really fun, especially with friends.

I played this game back in 2019 with my ex boyfriend initially and came back to it late 2020 to finish it and play it with some new buds and it was a blast, an absolute party and a half. We laughed, we got frustrated, we felt satisfied, but most importantly, we had ♥♥♥♥ tons of fun.

The game is best enjoyed with friends, 1 is okay, but 2 or 3 is definitely the best because it brings together people and makes them bond too.

The Bad
The game has lots of tutorials and guides for the first 10 hours which are tedious, but nice to have for new players.
The game also has a lot of unskippable cut scenes for the first half of the main game which are super annoying, and sadly iceborne have some too, but they're bearable I suppose.

Conclusion
Great game
8/10 with 2 or 3 friends.
7/10 with one friend.
5/10 alone.

Play with friends, it's best like that

Okay, I'll do the short version of my review first and the long one afterwards.

In short: Ghostrunner is a fast-paced parkour/mobility styled game where you gotta approach your situation the correct way to succeed. Ghostrunner is a very punishing game given you can only get hit once before you're reset to your last checkpoint to start again, this makes the game very hard but so rewarding when you finally get to kill that last enemy that's been bugging you for the last 10 minutes. 9.5/10

Long version:

The gameplay:
The gameplay loop feels amazing, it's fluid, fast and very responsive and despite scenarios being very alike at times the different ways you can go about completing said scenarios are amazing. The only times the gameplay loop falls short is when you've gotta complete puzzles that aren't well explained or when you've gotta wait for an opportunity to move forward in your area (Like waiting for platforms to come back if you missed them.)

The story:
The story is simple, yet very beautifully written and composed. I found myself getting lost in the characters dialog, trying to piece together what made the world of ghostrunner the way it is. I never felt the story was stale or boring and it always kept me interested. Side note: The story isn't shoved in your face given that the characters don't talk often, and you can just turn down the volume of the dialog to get rid of it all together

The looks/graphics:
The game looks stunning (I played in 1080p, 144hz and it still looked amazing). The dark and dystopian lighting alongside the absolutely terrifying labs, dimly lit city with neon lights and holograms that you run through really sets you in a setting where you feel like the world has gone to absolute ♥♥♥♥ and that YOU have to do something about it.

The soundtrack:
Gorgeous sci-fi cyberpunk-ish soundtrack with slow and fast beats here and there. It really helps the immersion and made me wanna go faster (Which made me die more times than I'd like to admit). I wish I could buy the soundtrack separately just to own it really

Conclusion:
This game is by all means worth the price mark (if not more) and you should get it if you're looking for a high-octane adrenaline rush. The game feels good, looks good, sounds good and tells an amazing story that still leaves a lot of questions for the player to figure out in their own head.

Final score: 9.5/10

Honestly just amazing

God how I miss playing this with my friends.

COD BO 3 was another sci-fi shooter that sacrificed "boots on the ground" for advanced movement which I'm fine with. The game was fun and zombies is still enjoyable from time to time

I haven't played this game in a while, but if it's stuck to it's roots it should still be pretty solid

CS:GO Review
Oh boy oh boy the nostalgia this brings me.

Well. Counter Strike: Global Offensive (or CS:GO) is a first person shooter based around the "search and destroy" game type where you only have 1 life per round and spend and earn cash after every round. It now also has battle royale.

The game is highly competitive and has a large player base despite it's age. The game isn't anything for me as a casual player who plays for fun and not really to win, this is because of the player base and how the majority treat this game as their life. But if you can gather 4 friends plus yourself for a 5 man it's pretty fun to just have a blast for a few hours
