This game has "cringe" name to say the least. It sounds like those cheap mobile ADs you see everywhere.

But let me tell you, the game is exactly the opposite, it feels fun, is made with love and i HIGHLY recommend it.

Why? Here are few reasons.

-The gun gameplay is fun, and the animations kinda remind of newer COD games. Like you can reload while aiming down the sights.
-You actually have to grab the loot to fill the bags, they just do not magically appear like in Payday series. (I love Payday I've had every single one since PayDay 1 to 3.)
-There are bunch of minigames on every single interaction. Like for example, you can boost saws and drills. Something I wish Payday had.

Only bad thing I can say about this game so far when you compare it to literally anything, is that the VA is cheesy at best. But for game at this price, and DLC with it. TBH i recommend this over Payday 3 anyday. Even tho I have the most expensive edition of Payday 3.

I have less than hour right now, but at least it feels more casual compared to Payday games. I hope it gets somewhat harder, but right now it feels really casual. Will update if it gets harder.

Enemy has double spawns and I don't. Such a balanced game. Was doing great before.

Do you like to play games to relax and just blast waves of enemies? Did you perhaps like Earth Defense Force?

You will most likely enjoy this too. The game has 3 classes, each with a good amount of weapons, grenades, utilities, perks and so on. For early access this game has bunch of fun content. Worth the money.

I just hope the developers wont give up on this. This game has a lot of potential and I love games like these. Have played Deep Rock Galactic enough so something fresh like this is just enjoyable.

Honestly I have only seen few clips / memes about Starship Troopers, so I barely know about the lore, world and so on. Still it's enjoyable and honestly this makes me wanna look into the series more.

Haven't had crashes or bugs (besides the intentional Bugs), and I cant say anything about the performance. All I can say it works well with my 7900xtx and ryzen 9 7950x and 32gb of DDR5. So can't talk for people with lower specs.

Looking forward for more content! Haven't felt this excited to play something time after time in a long time.

This game is cheaper than therapy, more relaxing than therapy and you can play it whenever you feel like it.

Interesting sure. Fun as a f2p singleplayer metro cop game.

But the puzzles are random garbage. I tried to finish the puzzle myself for almost 2 hours. I watched a video, and did as they did. And it STILL doesn't work....

I have not completed the game yet, but wanna give a quick disclaimer (will update this later)

Even tho this game has a lot of good stuff compared to the original ones, the new Ink demon mechanic is just annoying and unfun.

Why? Sometimes it's scripted, sometimes it's random. Basically ,you get notification on your screen saying like "The Ink Demon is coming". You have few seconds to hide. If you don't you'll die instantly. If you hide too late, think it's safe and get out, you die instantly. And you can only continue again from the latest manual or autosave. It's just bs. You can never see it. You get the message, hear the footsteps. You think you are okay when the effect is gone, you turn around (even if there is a wall) and you get the cutscene and die instantly.

Yes the game does have problems. But depending of the team size, I am sure most of them can be or might be fixed. I doubt this is the latest release.

Coming from V1 and V2, this again feels more fun to play tbh. I just wish this compared to V would be more ranged weapon based. To blast trough the heretics. Being the guardsman let's you do it tho. I never ran out of ammo.

The only problems I had was performance, servers, crashes and other players.

Performance was terrible, until I enabled fullscreen and DLSS to ultra performance. I have 2080Ti and R7 3700x. But looking trough community, for some it worked perfectly and for some not at all. So it's not as bad as it could be.

Servers often crashed and threw me back to lobby. Which is understandable.

I got like 2 crashes. Once in the ammunition mission where u have to carry the ammo to the ship. Once I took the ammo and walked few meters, it crashed. The other time i do not remember what i was doing sadly.

Other players are not the fault of the devs tho lol. But overall I felt like people are just rushing, dying alone, not listening to audio and barely knowing what they are doing. Kinda like the friendly AI right now.

Overall, again. Depending of the team size, they might have to delay the launch until they got some magical devs. Which they might, being played V1 beta back in the day. I'll keep my pre-order, because I have the best hope for you, Fatshark. It's been a while since i had this much fun.

I walked in a tunnel for 15 minutes, walked trough a rock, got stuck, saw Hillary's face under the map which scared me. Then I quit and it counted as Finished aka "successfully died in a tunnel".
