they gave it out in humble choice to hope stop the review bomb the game is fun but the studio hasn't been giving it the proper attention things are glitchier every update and they like to complain over its us or the times we are in but its there own incompetence and acting like we have no idea how games and the market work well sadly we do and your modding community is doing what you couldn't do in 3 years during coffee breaks and lunch breaks CA has zero drive to be a decent studio since 720p became obsolete in 1999 with total war rome 2 ever since then coasting on the same system like nintendo gonna start suing modders or people try to make a game that they enjoy because you all forgot how after so many years making the EXACT SAME GAME RESKINED

perfect 20.00 game ii really have enjoyed this game and still do afte 8 hours i feel like i have been repeating the same missions every 10 or 20 minutes but the combat is incredibly fun making me feel like i am controling a megazord or voltron depending on your preference and making an action scene with each turn.

art style reminds me of cyberpunk mixed with bombrush cyberfunk/ jet set radio but animated by trigger with the exaggerated animations and fun sized cut scenes i know its early access so i am keeping that in mind and why i still recommend this game as a relaxing party turn based rpg

they talk about adding more mech chassis then the Monki but there is still enough parts to make you feel like you are making your own mech i am really excited to see more update

Cons at the moment (things i would like to see change)

no steam cloud cant play on pc then steam deck with the same save after digging around the files i couldn't get the save to work or transfer manually

cant create your own characters at the start of the game the rest of the recruitment makes sense to randomly generate characters

Repetitive quests that although are a ton of fun doesn't feel like i am part of a story i got a few aspirations that were more story driven but were more to unlock skill slots for my characters

this game as of 2025 is just a hacked mess in multiplayer sad to say that halo is finally dead infinite is trash and the good classic are being ruined by hackers and halo 5 is no where to be seen on pc so yeah i say we let halo go take it off life support and let custom games and forge be all that left remember it in the past dont be like me and hope that its still fun.

ports great once you get to the point of changing the voices over, runs better then my vita that's all i care about keyboard controls and mouse dpi speed took a minute but controller is fantastic over all still the best surprise of the year, Assuming a patch will come down to fix the first day bugs and personnel issues that everyone else is saying but for 40 its a fair price same price as when it dropped for vita big win

so it working on Linux and steam deck again 720, 30fps on performance FSR, great to play multiplayer again while waiting for layers of paint and varnish to dry not perfect on steam deck. so i changed my review

Great co op missions cant wait for the rest to come out all the classes are a ton of fun just not made equal in all game modes so you might like bulwark in multiplayer but assault in ops.

multiplayer feels like old halo and gears days where you can pick up and play for an hour or two of online and feel like you did something fun and made progress unlocking armor and equipment

instead of spending 15 minutes finding a gun to get shot from threw a wall from 2 houses away. or losing all your equipment from failing to escape like every other trash shooter out there

story and lore are amazing even for people who like my self don't like the ultra marines as much as blood angel, salamanders, space wolves, dark angels, and iron fists (sorry imperial fist and ultramarine players your characters sooo boring to read and learn about yes we all know you are the best filing paperwork)

FOR ALL PEOPLE WHO WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THIS GAME

What an un optimized mess but so much fun when it all works. now i am not gonna say buy this now wait for updates but the pawn AI is soooooo good the changes to the classes really make them feel new and different from the first game but how the game is setup No load time between towns caves or enchantments Big win there. more large monsters like cyclopes and ogres running everywhere maybe 10 minutes before a big monster fight. yes i am 720p at 30fps but so was 90 percent of games on launch with denovo.

Idiots should learn how stuff works before reviewing looking at all the 30 minute players who think they have any weight to review a game.

720p 30fps solid outside of big towns (does no one remember dark souls one before remastered looks kinda like that)
which in my opinion is more then playable cant wait for it to get optimized i even have those stats on my steam deck 28 to 30 outside of town and in combat 15 fps in towns Streaming to Steam deck is best sense the screen is 1200x800 so 720 looks great

Games great fun and unique relays on people wanting to spend 30 dollars for a new dragon or armor set classes are unbalanced the game lost it self in the beta where you could earn dragon eggs to get new mounts thats all locked behind spending a minnimum of 10 dollars to get it or you get maybe 200 silver a game if you get first or second but requires 100 games before you can buy your first dragon, again love the dog fighting the graphics and the look and feel but the game is a cash grab i have no problem supporting a company but only 8 items in your shop per week lame rotating game modes i hope to see them adapt a new shop and items because all armor and every cant be unlocked by leveling unless you spend 10 dollars on a battlepass that should be 5. again this game looks far cooler then it really is which is a same because it was so fun in beta i earned 3 dragons within my first 30 matches but now just swipe your card
