OUTSTANDING PATRIOTISM

After going to see a friend a Mentor was there and massively helped me with getting most of my avatar issues sorted very quickly. I learned quite a lot from this person ^^ For now I would only recommend if you get help for now as that seems to be the quickest way of picking up this game.

Old Review:

I want to like this game I really do.

However I've spent a whole day trying to figure out how to import an avatar to this platform, the lack of documentation (The wiki seems to be not ready at the time of writing this review) makes it almost impossible to figure out how to do this. I'm having to refer to NEOs documentation and even that is outdated now. I've been using Unity for another VR platform for a while with Blender skills and even then it seems this game is a bit odd with how its set up.

Another example is currently there is no way to reset all current bone positions in Resonite after you leave that avatar into another one. This is a really annoying problem as soon as you enter that avatar the bones will be set to the current animation without a way to reset back to a T-Pose (Unless you mess around with a slider but you have to set it back after your done)

When I've got my avatar setup I still have faults with the menu selector being wonky because of the long wings on the avatar I'm using and having to twist my hand to use anything on the menu or taking the headset off entirely to do something simple like joining a world. Full body seems to be it's own thing that's going to take a whole day to get working like it does in other VR platforms.

I joined a "public" world to check how other players are doing only to instantly overhear people being berated by a player who had a red name telling them there avatar was "un-optimised" without going into details on why or how to fix it.

I'm still going to try to actively come and play this game and will adjust this review in the future.

This is quite a fun and quirky game that is made by a single someone who is new to making games and watching this game progress was amazing. So yes this is a 10/10 from me

Sadly as of right now I would not recommend, due to long queues and random crashes going back to 10k+ queue again

Honestly not worth it in its current state. Really buggy, constant disconnects and foot combat is really not that fun.

Planet visuals are a massive step backwards compared to how they used to look like

This is a really fun and challenging game would highly recommend
