This game is great with friends! but not with randoms most of the time

fun little game with the nice art style and hud with a stamina gameplay mechanic but it has a long way too go otherwise this game will not last for the long run without content 1 map 1 mode with little freedom to express the customization pick a few colors and a few amount of faces that's all you get at the moment, no penalties or options/logs besides kicking afterwards for random killings to innocents if people are throwing or trolling if its not the host.

I will wait to see if this cooks but for the moment i will play with my friends

the game is shut down, its sad to see it go it had some great unique gameplay mechanics that i have not seen since somewhat of titanfall 2,it just need some updates and tweaks to make it a great game! rest in peace hopefully someday some one will buy the rights and make it alive once more!

after playing for a bit there are still many problems with game with gunplay the maps and bugged animations with player models, the portal mode was the best but yet destroys the Classic battlefield with ungodly bad weapon balancing and the time to kill is slow 3-4 shots with a garand with no recoil? 25 rounds with a tommy to kill someone? something is wrong here the animations for the guns are great however for the 1942 era no one did ''Tactical'' reloads like that even on a BAR have you EVER RELOADED A BAR?! i have its not easy man i went back to BC2 and BF4 and they still outbeat the gameplay here

Darktide in a nutshell is space left 4 dead now is that a bad thing? No not at all! This game is very fun with friends and alone with randoms and for a beta this is a mostly stable build a few low amount of crashes and a few long load screens are all i get so far and MY god the SOUNDTRACK is the best! its blood pumping ready to destroy whatever comes your way! Now lets get to main problems

(THIS IS A BETA SO THIS WILL CHANGE) the class systems needs a little work with the Abilities needs a little work with the same class the same ability over and over can get tiresome i wish they would have like a sub class ability that would spice things up and change a little how they play. the levels are nice i hope they add more maps and it would be awesome if they had some type of Versus mode in the future, the difficulty need to be a tad bit lower and even at lvl 3 difficulty makes things feel almost impossible as well the grimoire heath drains they take away a over amount of health compare to Vermintide, the specials pathing needs to be worked as well they at times will not look at you on there player model and 180 spin leap on you past some walls and around corners that had some blocked walls. The levels system feels to grindy at the moment for new players to unlock the shops and on top of that there aren't much shops and by itself not much in the HUB at the moment i hope they add more in the future!

let me say this out loud now if you love project reality or squad, foxhole etc, you will love this game! this is NOT a fast pace game of CaLL Of DuTY (hour long games) this game takes time to play to learn and even if you dont care for that you still can enjoy the chaos of the community in every game in VC and people roleplaying there enjoyment, The Devs seem to really care about there game and updating it to the point were they manged to get there game on console, The games details looks great! the sound is perfect you KNOW when you got that perfect headshot and where tank rounds are flying at and feel when they hit, Gore is not perfect but the chunks of getting hit with large rounds or nades is clear, the gameplay is simple like squad with a Company of heros vibe of managing Fuel, ammo and manpower so your Commander can help with spawning tanks,recon planes, reinforcements on points, now you dont have too but it makes it were you have to work as a team sometimes otherwise you will get punished by enemy rushes and there own teamwork, Overall this game is worth the money and buying there packs to keep supporting there heartfelt game is worth it! the con i can say about this game is some weapon balancing, AT weapons they just dont feel that strong on the russian side i understand why they have to be weak but when the starting AT takes 3 people to shoot a panzer in the back point blank range to make and damage to it.

this game had some great ideas but died at release and was buried by the devs

After playing this game for over 300 hours and over the years I would say when it first came out during the early seasons it was a good game with some missing content like campaign, but now they’ve completely separated from being a tactical shooter to a political hero shooter, now with extraction they turn the free DLC into $40+ campaign without fixing their previous games problems with maps and character redesign, multiplayer has become too toxic to play where I can’t even play casual it forces me to play ranked, New operators are more like overwatch heroes with gender politics instead of interesting tactical operators with personalities like the early operators, at some point it was a good game that was fun but unfortunately it’s lost its meaning now.

just play left 4 dead 1/2 and look at the details of the games compare to back 4 blood i could go on for hours but many videos and reviews explain this further

DESPITE how this game looks on the store page it is quite interesting, a great story! that feels fun and enjoyable the Graphics are not 100% super perfect but for a free to play game it does it job the art is still quite good to look at in moments of time, i felt like my choices did matter! and you could tell what you did felt wrong or not i HOPE for more choices i know there are more coming soon so im excited! on that end note What are the CONS? well in moments the art was lacking with some scenes but at the same time i felt like it was purposely done to for some parts but for the animated parts it still needs work with some scenes feeling off but Hey its free to play so its not much a big deal I REALLY HOPE this game gets the funding it need to complete it! when done i SHALL return with a new Point of view!

For a virtual novel i Really want to make this a 9/10 but the art sound and OF course the game is not done so i have this a 6/10

A masterpiece! it has aged well so much so even Ea tried to ''Remaster'' it and can't even get any of this right well Worth the money!
