Square's attempt at a Ubisoft game, you'll find the same huge map covered in icons for mindnumbingly boring copy/pate activities. The difference is Ubisoft at least put effort into their game worlds.

Bed of Chaos Tier boss design
Anemic amounts of scrap meaning double the grind
Plot is exactly the same as the first game making it feel more like a Remake than a sequel
No hold to sprint making fights beyond clunky
HDR support on console but not PC (Not even auto HDR)
Tries to be Dark Souls meets Gears of War yet fails to be remotely as good as either and ends up worse than the first game which was mid at best

So i thought the first game was bad and overrated in the extreme. I was told that Miles Morales was much better and a completely different game. It's not, it's almost exactly the same outside of different combat powers. It's still an open city game that doesn't want to be anything more than on rails to the point it makes me wonder why they even made an open city. A game like this should encourage you to play the way you want to play with the skills and gadgets you want to use. Instead Insomniac force you to do everything the way they want via the utterly trash crimes and challenge system and how they're tied to the upgrade currency. Every encounter has to be dealt with in very specific ways, "perform 5 perfect dodge and a 30 hit combo" etc, etc, etc, etc. Why even make games to sell to others when you're just going to force them to play your way and only your way?

I feel bad for Nixxes being stuck porting Incrapniacs Spooderman tedium simulators when they could have done much better and more interesting games like Ratchet & Clank to start and then Ghost of Tsushima or Demon's Souls Remake.

Atrocious mind numbingly boring time waster that is inferior to the two previous games in every way imaginable. It guts everything that made the first two games great and instead gives you a pure dungeon crawler TiTS AllStars with hour long filler cutscenes so every character that didn't get as much screen time as the protags gets their own guff here.

No exploring new places in Liberl, no darker toned story with Kevin hunting heretics, etc. Imagine the final dungeons from FC and SC, or the other dimension versions of the towers but if that was the entire game. That's what this is.

The kicker is that it's needed for Zero and Cold Steel to make sense.

Shame on Falcom.

The game is good if you get it on PS5 only.
The PC version has been broken since Square first released it on PC and they have refused to fix it any way shape or form since. The game stutters with every step you take, has walls and doors, etc, that if you look at them your FPS will drop to single digits, etc, etc, etc. This version is a complete and utter dumpster fire, don't touch with a ten foot pole.

The worst game in the franchise and a perfect example of amateur hour from Treyarch.
More grenades are thrown than shots fired, it has some of the worst checkpoint spacing in the genre, has janky/awkard movement compared to previous entries which leads to you getting stuck on terrain all the time, it has the worst tank section of the WW2 entries, and there isn't even a British campaign. The music is also terrible for the setting, imagine thinking industrial metal and drum&bass was an appropriate choice for a WW2 title.
