An absolute travesty of a game with the most broken platforming in the industry.

Same old low effort, low quality, shallow and soulless overall gameplay experience. If you're into raiding in Destiny then go for it as that's the only thing Bungie put any effort into, if raiding doesn't interest you don't waste your money.

If only Bungie would go back to making actual games instead of this loot treadmill that's so shallow it makes Diablo look like Baldur's Gate.

Gonna make this quick and to the point, if we take the gameplay on it's own then it's a solid RPG, nothing special, just solid. In terms of plot/story it's boring, forgettable, and plain inferior to Wasteland II. The worst thing though is the bugs, gamebreaking and almost gamebreaking bugs. For example removing a created character from your party so you can switch another in to use a skill they have will completely wipe out the attribute and skill points of the removed created character, leaving them at -7 attribute points. All you can do at this point is create another character to replace them, however you won't get any of the points earned from skill books back or any of the special perks you've acquired back either.

This completely ruined the game for me and that they shipped the game in this state while having the resources of MS at their disposal is nothing short of disgraceful. If you are considering this game, don't waste the money as there are much better options out there, Wasteland II, Divinity OS 1+2, PoE 1+2, Pathfinder, etc, are all better games and more worthy of your money.

One of the worst modern games i have had the misfortune of playing. It is essentially a Korean grinder MMO but singleplayer. Every feature the game has is at best mediocre with most of them just being outright abysmal.

The combat is the same creatively bankrupt idea as the bamham games with much more janky and buggy movement and targeting. The story and characters are so poorly written they might as well have been taken from Reddit or Tumblr and are full of the devs biased political leanings. The nemesis system is a poor mechanic here, it was a decent novelty in the first game but here it's purely about increasing the grind, it also fails to switch anything up as by the time i'd done the second zone i was just seeing the same type of Orcs over and over again and having to listen to the same awful unskippable monologues over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. The zones are also awful and the only difference between them is the paintjob, there are many zones for a singleplayer title and you will be doing the exact same stuff in each of them over and over, run around the map doing the collectible shopping list (and yes it is presented to the player in such a soulless and mechanical manner), you then spend hours upon hours of letting Orcs kill you to level them before capturing them like pokemon so you can take part in the extremely boring fortress sieges.

So all in all a terrible game, don't waste your money or your time.

This game wants to be both your typical action FPS and a Sim and fails, games like ARMA and Squad are far better in the Sim department while titles like Modern Warfare and Battlefield are better in the action FPS department. The spawn system is absolutely atrocious and will spawn you amongst enemies or spawn enemies right behind you. It is also lacking in polish and feels like an early access title, with poor performance, jittery awkward movement, long load times, and texture pop in issues. In terms of maps they lack variety and heavily favour camping as even attempting to move from cover to cover will end up with you losing your head. They are also far too big in regard to how many players are in each match which leads to you having to go looking for enemies out of boredom only to have your head taken off by people camping with max zoom scopes on the other side of the map.

On top of that enemies are extremely hard to see against the terrain and the game doesn't do an adequate job of showing who is on your team as evidenced by every match i've taken part in being filled with accidental teamkilling all over the place. Sometimes the friendly marker won't even appear until after you've already hosed down a team mate with bullets.

Avoid this title as there are far and away better options for you to spend your money on.

The game is great until you reach the mountain pass area. This area is one of if not the worst and most poorly designed areas i have ever come across in my entire time gaming. You will be stuck in this area for hours due to falling down the hills (falling down a hill means you have to start again from scratch) and being forced to fight the same battles over and over and over and over and over and over again because it's all narrow paths packed with 2-3 mobs camping them. This one area completely ruins the game and will have you wanting to put your fist through your monitor.

Unresponsive controls in menus, and generally boring in every other aspect outside of the artwork, it;s also very short and ends right when it looks like it's actually going to go somewhere. The Howl of The ravager DLC is awful. Featuring mostly mazes as its content, there is also SJW agenda pushing with players being lectured early on about women being just as capable soldiers as men, there's other implied things in it as well i disliked but i doubt i can criticise anything related to the alphabet soup community without getting banned. Avoid this game and go for something like The Banner Saga, Ash of Gods, Divinity instead, Tales, FF, or Legrand Legacy, etc.

Best game i've played in a while and you get 100+ hours of the game for 15 quid. The best way i can describe the game would be to imagine Streets of Rage but with an actual plot, two explorable cities, and combat reminiscent of titles like Virtua Fighter and Tekken plus some RPG-Lite mechanics in the form of items you can equip to boost certain stats, etc. It's also packed to the brim with side content in the form of side quests and mini games like UFO catchers, classic SEGA games in the Arcade, disco dancing, etc. The best thing about this game though is easily the main story and the character performances.
