First off, the sountrack of this game is probably the best one out there. It suits the theme of the game perfectly.

The game itself is very engrossing, losing hours to space exploration and colonisation is easy and fun. The game has a lot of depth through events, random generation of galaxies and the races that inhabit the systems within. The diplomacy is very transparent, as with all paradox games you know exactly why and how you've pissed someone of, and there are many different soulutions.

They have made som massive changes to the FTL-system of the game, and continue to make changes and adding features through new updates and dlc. The dlc is somewhat controversial in that the base game gets left behind with some features many players consider to be a part of the core game and should be included in the free patches. This goes for any paradox title, and as a fan of their games im in two minds about it. They need to make money, but shouldn't do so at the expense of the players that already support their game by buying it.

I can easily ignore all of that because of the soundtrack though, great game, would recommend!
