My Club Penguin Poem

Was an ordinary day
My childhood game
Was going away
And its name
Was Club Penguin.

Thinking years and years back,
A decade ago,
As ancient as an antique Mac,
When computers were slow,
But there was Club Penguin.

All day long,
Playing everyday,
Like an artist composing a song.
It was essential to play,
The game, Club Penguin.

Waddling around.
Bonding with new friends.
Blankets of snow – all over the ground,
The joy that never ends
In Club Penguin.

It’s a child’s drug,
That you can’t apprehend.
I couldn’t unplug
With years of memberships I spend
In Club Penguin.

It was the very last night,
On March twenty nine,
Tears coming down – left and right.
I gloomily typed my final line,
“Good Bye Club Penguin.”

Yet, my youth days are history,
I’m grown up, and moved on!
My next memory will be a mystery.
My life in Club Penguin is gone.
Farewell Club Penguin!
