NOTE: I can only recommend getting this or any other driving simulator if you have a wheel with Force Feedback and if you don't you should get one right now.

If you like driving simulators this is a must have. Some simulators might be better in certain areas like physics but none of them offer such a good and well-balanced experience.

Pros:
+Full modding support
+Great if not the best FFB out there
+Great physics
+Best car handling and feel in my opinion. Every car feels different and handles just as you would expect them to. No other racing game or simulator has made me want to drive road cars or generally slow cars but with Assetto Corsa i wish for so many more road cars to be released.
+Amazing detail of tracks and cars
+Plenty of official content for reasonable price
+Great multiplayer for public and private races, drifting and my favorite: Nordschleife trackday servers
+Very well optimized
+Good sounds
+Good AI
+Good enough graphics atleast for my taste can be enhanced with mods
+Community created stuff like ratings system for servers and iracing type race service
+Setup tuning is easy and every option is explained
+Fully customizable HUD and can be modified even while racing on the fly

Cons:
-DLC Locked servers separating the playerbase.(If a server has a car from a dlc pack you do not own you can't join the server)
-No rain/night
-Visual damage of cars is lacking(hit a wall going 200 and from the outside your car just has a few scratches and a broken bumper)
-UI might be confusing to use the first few times
-Could be easier to set up your private server(you have to do it from outside the game)
-Can't choose paintjob of car when joining a multiplayer server
