Lot's of fun, annoying to have to buy DLC from previous games in order to access a lot of characters.

Other than the crashes, it's a good game. Wish you could rejoin games after crashes and disconnects.

When I explain Squad to people I say it's a cross between Battlefield and Arma. The reason for that is because it keeps enough of the realism in it to keep things, well... real, but also still has those arcady elements that make it fun. This game is not for the feint of heart, if you are not a team player, do not know how to listen or think you will be rambo you are not going to have a good time. If you have patience and value working as a team, you will really have a wonderful experience! Having supportive and communicative teammates is what will really make or break the game for you in trying to accomplish your goals!

Blood, Carnage and Destruction! Whats not to love?

I like this game and I enjoy it when I get to play with friends. But I cannot recommend unless they take a real hard look at the cheating problem. They don't even try to hide it anymore, it blatantly obvious, walling, aim botting, lack of recoil, you name it. I will turn this positive when they start to take cheating more seriously and hold people accountable.

The game has aged pretty well, it does itch that nostalgic feeling. There are still some performance issues because it was ported over. One example is some input lag, it can be mitigated by playing in windows mode and locking your frames to 60 FPS. It's still there a little bit but significantly reduced. I'm looking forward to the releases of the rest of the franchise.

This is a great game if you're trying to sink hours of your life into it!
