The era is amazing and most of the game is still fun, but it Is nowhere near worth that price. Please do not make them think otherwise.

Super immersive and beautiful. Great fun, strategic, and tactical survival mechanics. Scary horror game. Unforgiving at times. Historically crappy dev team, some improvement over the years. Very slow development.

Worth $40 if you like dinosaurs.

Good looking art style, fun gadgets, okay shooting, lots of mission and map types, wide range of difficulties, sensible progression, and continually updated.

Great COOP game.

The Warscape engine excels in Shogun 2. The campaign lacks the annoying features that every newer historical title has.

Creative Assembly have not made a historical game this good since.

Has a lot of cool features but cannot recommend so long as small-arms fire is as accurate at it is. Aiming and hitting targets is as easy as CoD. That is nowhere near "true-to-life."

Beautiful lands to explore, beautiful animals to kill, beautiful guns to kill with.

CotW is an immersive adventure that will hold your attention for as long as your ADHD medication lasts. The game-play is solid. The AI is adequate--though at times atrocious. Weapon selection is vast, although their individual characteristics are California levels of disappointing. The weapon handling is close to real-life. Bullet impact physics and damage is outrageous. The level of freedom is castrated in the sense that, yes, it is an open world game, but no, you can't do anything but walk around and cap critters. The main stories are a boring distraction and the lame civility of the characters is most disturbing. The level of immersion simply makes up for these problems... until repetition sets in.

The base game is worth $30. The complete game is worth $50.

A modern warfare rendition of the best close-combat RTS series.

CtA adds some interesting new features to the MoW series that it did not need. The first-person gimmick is neither immersive nor especially functional. The camera views are trash compared to all the older games. The vanilla combat is rushed and unfulfilling. The game is somehow clunkier than its predecessors. That being said, it is still brings modern combat to the best RTS format available and supports great mods--a huge bonus in itself.

This game is worth $20.

If BFV was good.

A decent, casual shooter. 90% of the game is learning how and where to spot enemies before they see you, because shooting is very easy. Learning the maps is important to success. Teammates are for making your spawn-point and not much else. The RTS portion plays a very minor role. Team-play can be had, but it is not the core experience of this game. Weapon handling is simplified, quick, and unrealistic. The game-play is solid.

This game is worth $40

The first MoW game to improve upon the series since Faces of War. A logical progression with added realism and continuous battles. If you enjoyed the Close Combat games in the late 90s and early 2000s, then you should especially try this.
