I get it's a young solo dev but I can't in good faith recommend anyone buy this game in it's current state, it's not even that fun with friends as it barely works. With enough polish it's a fun concept that could be worth something.

These are far worse than FREE sourceports or even the ports included with Doom 3 BFG for the same price

tl;dr Warband is a much more stable and complete experience as of this typing but the framework of Bannerlord is really good and given another year or 2 of development it will probably be a more complete and enjoyable experience.

Overall the game right now compared to Warband is that I think it's a worse game and once you add the mountains of mods that Warband has on top of that it seems stupid to buy this game, but it's still a fun game with a lot of content that is updated constantly, weekly it seems. If you're big into modding than it's definitely a turnoff since unless you stay on an outdated version your mods will be broken near constantly. It also has the issue that on major updates tend to break saves, sometimes in a minor way that isn't a big deal and other times to the point where your only option is to start a brand new save. Overall you're getting a much more refined and less janky game than Warband but you are trading that for a more unstable and still in development game, Early Access really means you are getting early access to this game that is clearly still in development.

The "remaster" doesn't support Windows 7 and MP is unplayable which makes this port pretty much worthless, just play a Sourceport instead of buying the cheap cash grab from zoomers who just found out "Boomer Shooters" exist.

This is by far the best game that exists for VR currently, had a rocky start but it's at a point where it's so rich with content and there is a ton to do with very unique gameplay, plus it works from a first gen Rift all the way to the brand spanking new index and it works well with all of them.

I mean it is a decently fun game but it has so many flaws and it seems like paradox wants to just add in more ♥♥♥♥ instead of actually fixing them.
One of the biggest flaws of this game has been how it runs, the first couple of years go by just fine but 42+ is just a complete slog even on a pretty beefy computer.
Another large issue is that there are a ton of late game things that feel completely unfinished and while there are mods to fix this it seems like paradox is more interested in just making you buy it 3+ years after the fact, and while this isn't really a new thing for paradox it's still a kick in the balls.
