Unfortunately the first 3 chapters of this game were so good that the rest of it is a disappointment, tainting the entire experience. Later levels become absolute slogs and what little narrative the game had is almost entirely dropped. I actually wouldn't have minded the deathrun in the final chapter if there was some build up to it, but it's just an undeserved difficulty spike with little payoff.

Honestly, I really enjoyed the first 3 chapters. They were unique, memorable, and didn't overstay their welcome. Had I stopped playing the game at that point, I would have given this review a thumbs up.

truck game

Love it. I quite enjoyed how this chapter started diving into the more ethereal. The new characters are interesting and I loved seeing the familiar sights at the camp with a different time of day. Not to mention with each update, the game becomes more polished and consistent. I am constantly impressed on how clean the animations are, the backgrounds, and the style of the UI. It just all blends together so well.

If you liked the first chapter, there's no reason you shouldn't buy this one. Really looking forward to the third act of this chapter!

This game has the same vibe as Half Life 1: charging through an underground facility, fighting various aliens with various weaponry, attempting to make your way to the surface.

Although it may not look impressive, it's damn fun to play. The set pieces and boss battles keep the game interesting through each level. And it probably has the most satisfying VR weapon ever in the form of an SMG/Sniper Rifle combo.

This game gave me brain damage.

This is the only VR game that lets you properly bust through doors.

I'm serious, that's my favorite part of the game.

Quake if it was made today with an extreme level of polish and a killer soundtrack.

Play it.

A surreal and well-polished 3 hour trip that might hit too close to home. The best (or worst) part about this game is how relatable some of the dialogue and themes are amidst the craziness of it all. Not to mention the amazing soundtrack to accompany the variety of visuals. Definitely worth playing.

You can dance and sing your way through the whole game and that's beautiful.
