This is like if 7 days to die was a colony sim, very fun. Plus you can pick your own hometown/neighborhood as your area.

Loved MOWAS2, I played the crap out of it. Some things to say, good and bad about this.

PROs:
NO DLC REQUIRED FOR AI MATCHES *I was so annoyed by this in AS2*
Has classic game mode still
Unit selection is massive, I think this is the most units in a MOW game ever
Artillery is viable and not a throw
Planes are a real thing instead of a gimmick on one map
Fortifications are way bigger in this game and building defenses is viable. Also includes a custom trench digging system
Its a very pretty game with ammo cook offs and explosions
New game modes I have found really fun so far
I found the armor pen system in this game to be a lot more helpful and straight forward than AS2 *more clear*
The match making so far has done a pretty good job at balancing the battalion game mode
The AI is good... compared to AS2 and CTA...which is a low bar, but I will take it
AI will automatically fill in discon players which is nice
CO-OP Campaign doesnt automatically split units!!
Unit library is awesome, love comparing units and looking at stats *autistic*

Only 3 nations, which is sad for someone who loved to play Japan in AS2. Maybe they will add more
Artillery is still wicked strong I feel *since beta*
UI is a bit everywhere, which might be needed since the scale is bigger. This and all the text is why I can see people call it arcadey.
Pacing is faster than AS2, still getting use to it
Lighting is good but maybe models have been dated, this being said I dont have performance issues
No loot boxes, but you unlock "box points" after each match where you can buy a limited number of "special troops" These troops arent stronger than normal ones per say, but I just feel weird about it idk
Some squads are like "AI squads", you still control them, but you cant select individual soldiers which has lead to frustrating squad charges into tank machine guns. You dont have to choose these units, but I dont know why they did this tbh. Normal squads do exist though
Vehicle HP: I am aware its always been a thing and I dont mind it too too much, but not sure if its correct? Idk still thinking on this


Overall as a huge fan of AS2 I would recommend this game with a few notes. Its bigger scale, faster paced, more assets in use. Infantry micro isnt as important as AS2 as the battlefield is bigger. This in mind, if you are still interested buy it, or maybe wait for a sale. I will update this review if anything funky happens.


Edit: AI Squads are cheaper options so you get a less versatile unit for less points which is kinda neat. F-22 and ZIS 3 are dual purpose and can be AT guns and Small Artillery. Artillery is still really strong. Saw a half track that had missing textures after it got destroyed, only major bug ive seen so far.

Sony backed down, positive review from me. Game over all is pretty fun. Love fighting the robots.

Soundtrack didnt have to go as hard, game itself is a charming medieval restaurant sim, well done.

Minecraft for adults, zombies are a serious threat and you cannot just stack block up to escape, gravity exists in this game and they will collapse your tower. The AI path finding is also very good and will break through walls if need be to get you. Fun survival, looting, and crafting systems. Good combat, this game has come a long way.

An incredible game, I love all sorts of RTS games like homeworld and sins of a solar empire and a lot of games like that. This focuses much more on the ship combat. Amazing and lots coming, devs super chill and play sometimes.

Ive had a very hard time putting this game down since I got it. Ive done a lot of RTS games and this one gets an itch a lot of others didnt. For those curious and know space RTS this is like VR Homeworld. Also gives Star Wars empire at war space battles vibe. If you have VR and like space RTS. This game is an easy grab.

Probably the best free RTS game. And in terms of all the RTS games ive played, HOI4, Civ 5 and 6, Stellaris, MOWAS2, Call to Arms, Total War Rome, Total War Napoleon, LOTR BFME 1 and 2, etc. This game is in my top 10, AND ITS FREE!

This game is epic. Basically its a top down constant war over a huge map. Two sides are fighting to claim the map. All the supplies, trucks, tanks, guns, are produced by the player. All the material to produce these are collected by the player. Every individual action is accounted for and impacts the war. LOGISTICS IS HUGE!
