I think a self written quote perfectly sums up this game in all it's form of what has easily become my best game of the year, hell, decade so far:
"And it's there at a choice that you made, that in the midst of it all, all the rage, fury, anguish and agony that one wonders, if you had of turned a different way, spent a bit longer in the shower, said your goodbyes - that something would've changed. Just to know you got to spend just a few more moments of time with them."

It is - to date, the second best video game story behind Red Dead Redemption 2 for me which now says a lot and hits home almost too closely in it's own way of story telling that hurts, but makes for a game that we rarely see in a world of hurried scripts and bugged messes.
