to compare to Rimworld: This is more macro and less micro and more independently flowing than rimworld. Player sets up the environment for the Dwarfs, opposed to rimword where you can pretty much script the brains of everybody.

UI is functional but wiki and youtube is needed when doing many of the medium to advanced thing for the first time.

The gameplay is solid. That is the most important part at this point.

It is and alpha/beta so the balance is off and lots of content is missing but these will be fixed.

UI sucks but that is not a game breaker and might get somewhat better in the future

Best combat mission by far.

Some pointers:
- Setting is a mix between the modern and the old. (not as unforgiving as modern or as slow as WWII)
- 79' USSR has the edge and by 82' the US is back in the lead (symmetric peer to peer combat)
- campaigns are great. big maps, interesting mission, challenging
- interesting new weapons and system
- best tac AI so far

The bad:
- This is on the very limits on what the CM2 engine can handle and too often goes over that line. Performance problems often get game braking

This DLC brings the most content and I think the best campaigns of the game.

This is the weakest DLC of Shock Force. I think the campaign does not stand up to the others.

Still worth the buy.
