early initial review on launch day (will update in the future)

an amazing arpg that's modernizing the genre, what BG3 did for crpgs.

Bosses:
bosses in poe2 are brutal and remind me of fights in elden ring. if i properly learn their mechanics i can beat them or i can go overlevel and make it so i can tank a few more hits to allow for mistakes. the bosses are a lot more savage(act1 bosses have 1shot me with a large telegraphed attack) and even the mobs in general are brutal. which can make the game not for everyone. the bosses have so much depth and detail now compared to poe1. it makes me excited and nervous for every boss fight. i need to be stratgic with my abilities and the timing of them so i can evade and dodge the bosses large attacks that'll otherwise 1-2shot my ranger.

Accessibility/able to play the game without downloading spreadsheets or 3rd party apps like poe1:
poe2 is the most accessible that poe has ever been. i went into launch blind without looking at anything which is something i'd never do in poe1 cuz the build would be bricked. but poe2 recommends skills and skill combos and allows for respecing the skill tree in away that removes my fear of experimenting with new things in poe.

the different amount of crafting currencies has been reduced while at the same time the quantity of their drops has been increased. which really encourages you to craft gear and experiment throughout the campaign instead of poe1 hoarding them till endgame to not waste them.


after the inital issues on launch i had 0 issues once the servers got up after the 1st 2hr server hiccups.

10/10 amazing game.

Good replay-ability due to choices having an impact and locking off certain if you piss that faction off.
