You have no idea how many years I waited for a postapo game setup in snowlands.

This should be illegal. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, even on itch.io, where almost everything and anything goes - stuff like this would be taken down in a day. I have no idea what nutjob working at Valve let this cancer in and the fact this is still going only shows how low Steam/Valve fell from their grace. Steam is basically google play but for desktops now. I feel so sorry for any aspiring, proper game developer trying to make his mark on this platform in 2024 onward... :(

TL;DR Imagine Genhin Impact but better, with all the features the community requested and never received.
Character customization, non-intrusive multiplayer, proper co-op, less P2W, looks and plays better.
Rip GI, long live ToF!

Early Access Review
Disclaimer: I am The Room VR fanatic and in general an escape room fan. This is the first game in years that managed to scratch my itch. I hope to see more maps soon as I already consumed all the current one :)

Warhammer + Carbon Studio = this was meant to be good.
But also a disclaimer: I was playing Warhammer like a lunatic in my youth so I am rather easily pleased whenever Warhammer brand comes into play.
As for the gameplay - it is like the ultimate fantasy combat game and in VR it just blows your brain. People kekeking 'VR is dying' clearly never played this game over here. I am praying it will eventually come to Oculus Quest because... well wireless>wired.

So I played Helltaker briefly and I must say thank god for Rule 34.
My fapfolder grew exponentially.

Phew! What a wicked ride this was. Okay, time for reflections.
The Good:
✔️ The audio-visual fidelity is unbelievable, for an indie game.
Is this for real your first game?!?! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
✔️ Turn-based Dark Souls
Really. I am not over-reacting. This ain't no hack'n'slash. You kill or get killed. No damage tanking - everything's lethal. You make a mistake - you're as good as dead. At the same time, if you actually THINK before you ACT - you can be as deadly as your foes.
✔️ Fallout + Lovecraft = Alder's Blood
You have that heavy atmosphere of a post-apo game, with the feeling of desolation and hopelessness. Yet there is that typical Lovecraft's sensation of mystery and something twisted and creepy, crawling under your♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ No player's spoon feeding and cookie-cutter hand handling
I love when games and game designers assume I am not an ape. This game is hard, brutal, rich and not ashamed of being what it is. You don't get the game? Go back playing consoles you filthy casual.

The Bad:
❌Enemy AI is sometimes very random.
I lure him by throwing pebble. He goes there and then scouts a huge area. Often bumping me - hidden in the bushes lol
❌Throwing knifes are kind a useless
The gun packs a punch but must be reloaded. The saber also lands hard + backstab. Throwing knifes? Idk of any reason to use them.
❌Confusing Field of View of enemies
Its obvious if the mob is looking left or right and how far his sight reaches horizontally. Vertically? Its a guessing game.

The Verdict:
👍 Look at my playtime. Now be aware the game can be finished in around 20-30 minutes. Yea I did that 4 times. This is how good it is. And why the ♥♥♥♥ are you even reading this review? The game's free. Just go and play it.

Super Star Panda is one of those little gems, hidden in vast and wide Steam. It has a very unique and nostalgic 'vibe' of video games from my youth. You know, Amiga 500, NES, Gameboy and others. It's simple, but not easy.

You can play it for 5 or 50 minutes and you'll always get a dose of fun. Its not something that'll make you skip the night, but it will make you keep coming every now and then. Kinda like Bejeweled, Zuma or Desktop Dungeons.

I initially bought this for my 7yo son (there are virtually NO video games on Steam, for his age range) but I ended up playing the game myself lol. And for one buck this really is no-brainer.

A bit buggy but funny. I actually love how simple and easy to get into it is. Good job! Looking forward for new updates =)
