2am, had my headset on lowest volume.... turned on this game, and holy ♥♥♥♥.... it's loud.

Played 3 minutes, the game was loading so I went to go get a sandwitch, came back, the game was still loading.

I now have over 80 minutes on the game.

Oh, where to start...

The game is a masterpeice. It's simple to learn, fun to play, it's NOT pay to win (yes, you cn pay for "better" weapons; I myself STILL use the starter rifle, even though i have enough ingame currency to get any gun in the game), the game keeps getting updated to add new content, weapons, gamemodes, and maps. the best part? it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥' free! why turn this game down when you can give it a shot, head-blast everyone (i got an acheivement for getting 40 kills in one match (most were headshots.. but we don't talk about that)), and have fun! The game also is not complex; point, click, get a kill, reload, run, die, rinse and repeat (sometimes you can hit "Q" for a coll operative-ability, or "E" to call in a combat-drone-thing) You guys are lucky though, when I got the game, it wasn't free -- I still don't regret my purchase, even knowing it's now free. Take it from me, or don't; just know it's free, and won't hurt to try :)

10/10 would use crew as currency again

Alt+F4 doesn't work, Combine are wayy to Over powered and the game lags a ♥♥♥♥ ton when trying to play sandbox, as well as random explosions, and the AI placing antlion dens everywhere.....

Pros:
+ Game runs great
+ It's a half life 2 RTS
+ the maps are decently sized
+ plenty of reasonable upgrades & units
+ free
+ good for when you have nothing else to do
+ multiplayer
+ you can self destruct units

Cons:
- alt+f4 doesn't work
- Combine is over powered
- no vehicles
- random explosions during Sandbox
- AI spam-♥♥♥♥♥ 80 units in 2 minutes (on 'normal' difficulty)
- not much to actually do
- no one ever plays this game (no servers OR players)
- combine has more units
- combine is the only almost-complete faction (infantry wise)
- turrents are retarded and barely work at best


10/10 would like to Alt+F4 again

Even with DLC, buying in game currency, and every thing that would and should make this game pay to win, they managed to pull it off just right, making the game NOT pay to win -- at all.

I'm giving it thumbs up because it was an amazing game on gamecube, but the game wont run on my win8 laptop, if you know of a solution, please tell me, thx

Definatly a good game, survival is hard, dont use all your resources at the beginning, be conservative, and your actions do affect your peoples moods...
