This guy has no clue on how to run a factory. He decided for his costing of manufacturing overhead of products that are all unique and use different processes he was going to use job order costing. HELLO????? Can we get Squidward Tentacles on the phone? He would tell you that you do NOT use job order costing when running a factory and making products with a similar process. You use PROCESS costing or ACTIVITY Based costing. Secondly when i told him about process costing he said "So wait we just apply overhead to the batch?" NO! NO NO! You don't simply assign overhead to the batch, you have to take into consideration the amount of work that was put in already! This means getting the equivalent units of the work done! Then after that you can get the amount of manufacturing overhead. STUPID STUPID STUPID!
