There's one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quest in this game I can't believe made it past QA and play testing - I've enjoyed the game so far but there's a certain quest starting with the letter "S" ( if you know - you know ) I'd rather chew glass and sit on a cactus than play it again unmodded or unaddressed by the developers. I'm doing my part by leaving this review up until it's formally addressed.

It's a good game, there's plenty of growth potential and neat features incoming, and with some bugs fixed and QoL updates, this game can be huge. Also modding support doing good work already.

Multiplayer? screw that noise. Just host your own server and enjoy a peaceful base building, exploration and raiding experience, alone or with your friends. No need for all that always online toxic raiding stuff.

While the game is new ( as of the 24/11/2021 ) and has some network, viusal and connection bugs, it still shines as the Forza Horizon experience, just as good as Forza Horizon 4.

It suffers from some growing pains, such as odd unspeicifed requirements for seasonal events which makes them seemingly impossible and very annoying, disconnections from social events at the worst times you could imagine, random crashes, work/reward lack of balance ( not as good as Horizon 4 ), some popping textures...

But I ( want to ) believe that all, or most of these issues will be ironed out in the upcoming months, and we'll be left with another smooth, serene racing utopia. The map is immense, with a wide range of sceneries from jungles to towns and beaches, the weather is diverse and beautiful. The cars are, as usual, fun to drive, look great, and with a starting roster of over 500 vehicles, there's plenty to choose from, with more coming every week, if you're willing to pay.

The stories and missions are not as diverse as the last time around, some of them are underwhelming, the others are fun. The characters are a bit cheesy, like they came straight from a comedy show. You land into the show as a "superstar", and no one, especially the radio presenters, won't let you forget that. The silent protagonist is also not silent anymore.

The rewards overall are pretty underwhelming, for any accolade or objective you accomplish, you're most likely to get a chat line, which you can use 2 of at any given time. And with my constant connection issues despite having an okay internet connection, on top of a ghost-town feel to all spontaneous social events, I can barely even justify them existing.

The potential is there and mostly fulfilled, but the game could use a little balancing and polish. Which I believe we will get.

Feel like I've been waiting for this one for a long while before I even knew it. A very user-friendly, highly customizable drawing experience. Integrated web browser for videos and references implemented beautifully to make the experience as comfortable as it can be. Very fun, only hindered by some VR limitations like physics and connection of canvas and tools.

The only thing that felt a bit off was notable delay and lagging of web browser in-game, but it seemed to mostly get over it after a few minutes.

Overall highly recommended.

The gameplay itself is generic, but the music and environments are to die for. Very nice for its price

It's a pretty good game, but not without flaws, which I will specify first. I hope the devs care enough to note.

  • Tutorial - some of the beginning items could use some explaining - the way machine upgrades work, for example.

  • Height and area of play support is limited - movable platform is good, but not everyone can stretch enough to hit upcoming ground obstacles, and sometimes arrows, before they're too close, and eventually damage the player.

  • Index support is pretty mediocre, you are required to hold down items with the triggers, instead of relying on the grip which makes it slightly uncomfortable and confusing, especially with the tongs that have a "single use", and especially after coming from well optimized games, control wise.

  • I keep receiving damage in the battle chamber from unexplained entities, or arrows that are so far apart and come in the same time which I have no chance of blocking. Throwing of the weapon is also kinda wonky, maybe because of the Index's trigger sensibility, but most thrown weapons just float.

  • Smithing is highly susceptible to glitching and loss of tracking - Losing track on one of my controllers sent the smelting bucket flying, probably losing an ingot in the process. There's a room for stability.

  • Operating books can be quite janky, grab them the wrong way and off they go to the floor or some other uncomfortable place.

I really felt those in the first two hours, but other than that, fun game. Smithing and crafting is nice, apart from odd bugs the battle chamber is good and varied, money making is fun and it's fun to utilize the money. I hope there're more features, bugs fixes and additional stuff down the pipeline.

It has potential.. but it's not there yet. It is NOT optimized. Some of the lowest FPS counts I've seen in any VR game.
Game freezes and twiches in every turn. You can't turn without turning IRL, which doesn't work for my lighthouse setup.
It is not optimized for the index - the grab/drop parameters aren't there yet.
It has potential, but without proper locomotion, UI that doesn't feel twitchy or clingy and graphical optimization, I can't recommend it. If those are fixed, it would be an awesome free game.

Good car selection, good customization options, ok story, appealing aesthetics and graphics, The good ol' Need For Speed arcade experience. Wonder why the hell though they chose mumble rap and modern Latin pop as the only soundtrack options, given the aesthetic and style, I'd hope for some electronic or synthwave. All I can do is you mute that ♥♥♥♥, load a spotify playlist of your preferred artists, and enjoy the game. Overall a recommend

Amazing game. Real mind magic happening between that one time you were confused from these fast flying blocks on hard, and that time you finished an expert+ map. Once you get to around expert level make sure you dabble in modding; it adds a whole dimension of fan made fun. Even if you don't like anime songs, like me, you will likely find many, many of your favorite songs in there.
