Finished HL : Alyx after 18h of gameplay and wow, I'm mind ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blown !!

First the graphics : they are so realistic, It's really immersive + there is a great amount of interactivity. This is the best VR experience I had

I thought I'd miss Merle but not at all, big shout-out to Ozioma Akagha who did an outstanding job for the voice acting of Alyx

Despite Mike Morasky doing a great job, I felt like the music was closer to Portal than Half-Life. I really missed Kelly's music but was happy when some of his previous works started to kick in

Ennemies were diversified and it was a real pleasure to kill them (especially one in particular), I wouldn't mind a bigger arsenal and AI was a bit of a lackluster tho

Map design is linear (it's Half Life, what did you expect?) but rewards exploration by giving stuff or some lore

The artistic direction is really over the top and I was in awe at several moments

Can't speak about story without spoiling so I won't talk about it

I had only one bug in the entire course of the game, which was a health syringe disapearing through the ground

Overall, it was an amazing experience and I really recommend it to all fans of the Half Life saga.
If your still hesitant buying a VR headset just to experience it I'd say go for it. IT IS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WORTH

TL;DR : Best VR game and a must play if you're a fan of the Half-Life saga. Play Half-Life Alyx if you haven't it yet !
