For me its one of the best RE games. Loved the location and the overall story. Only complaint is the last act has a different feel to it and its not really horror at that point.

Chill and easy to pickup (not overly complicated like Ark or Conan)
Easy to setup a community game
Runs smooth and easy render

Does need some tweaking when it comes to minerals
Deer sound horrible please replace the sound or make it WAY LESS frequent

Good game upon release but now after the final updates its an Amazing game. The DLC is amazing and the ending hits hard. Worth every eddie!

Beat the game twice when it was released on console, one of the best Metro games and one of the better current games.

The story is great and I really enjoyed the characters, locations are beautiful and unique
It has the open world and crafting like many but the levels aren't to big and crafting isn't a hassle to deal with.

Great fun/funny way to get to know and test the Index controllers

This is the current pinnacle of VR and a super high standard for all games!

First off it looks amazing and runs great

The Audio was on point, things sounded like they you would imagine but also the directional audio was outstanding

Nothing really felt like a gimmick for VR, it was mostly fresh, and I didn’t really get tired of doing the little puzzles.

Characters and dialogue where outstanding and I wish there was a little more

But the story… was fan ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tastic and I really hope Valve keeps going!

HZD is a shining example of a single player experience!

The Story as a whole is great, learning about Aloy and uncovering the past is very well done and they paint a good picture of what happened. Most side characters somewhat lack depth, you meet then help them and learn a little bit about them and then they are gone, it would be nice to see some of the favorites more but it doesn’t really subtract from the game that much.

The progression of the game doesn’t feel to slow or to quick and with a medium sized map it doesn’t that progress. But with the size of the map it feels like there is a lot of empty spaces where no human or machines reside. There are campfires to save at what seems like every two steps but with no other manual saves it works well. You can fast travel, but it does cost some resources which helps reduce fast travel abuse. Though very few times did I find myself lacking basic materials of money, a few of the rare parts took a little bit to get but for the most part especially late game I never lacked for anything. Perks and crafting are simple so no need for a manual to craft anything. Combat and the controls are good, nothing revolutionary but very well implemented and easy to use with Keyboard/Mouse. Let it be known that this is probably the best climbing mechanic I’ve seen, it’s super easy and not once did Aloy decide to derp in the wrong direction and fall down 2000ft to her death.

Graphically this is probably a top 10 contender. The environment is stunning and diverse and I’m going to say it, I’d rate this as the second-best open world visually right after RDR2.
Performance at the start was rocky but after patch 3 my game ran great and the two patches so far after having also just increased performance and features found in the PS4 version of the game.

Photo mode is robust and I’ve taken around 200 photos, the only thing its really lacks is the ability to take photos in towns and maybe a few more poses’ for Aloy.

Overall I really enjoyed the game and can’t wait for the next game to hit PC.
Is it work full price? I’d say yes!

It's basically XCOM repackaged with some tweaks, so if you liked the first you'll probably like this.
