This expansion will be good. You're probably going to have to give it a few months to mature though. I can see future updates to this being incredibly promising with more variety in station interiors, the addition of ship interiors, and more NPC interactions, but we'll have to wait and find out the extent of what will be added.

If you don't have a beefy PC and don't have a desire to play what is basically a beta at the moment, I'd come back in 3 months and see what's changed. If you're willing to be patient with it and check out a buggy new feature, I'd say give it a shot. I've had fun with it, just be warned it's not terribly well optimized.
