New update has changed the game... gone are the days where you ran for miles looking for a rotten banana, or a worn out hoodie. Now the game has become civilised, despite being killed by heavily armed militia because I 'Walked past' the experience has improved... I got to sit around a campfire with a friend and tell creepy stories as the DayZ passed by.

Changed my mind. Don't buy this piece of sh*t, pathetic excuse for a game produced by some people who are a pathetic excuse for developers.

Some may see this game as yet another FPS which is ripping of either Battlefield or COD, but let me set your view straight. Yes it's an FPS, but it's different. I would class it as one of the most realistic FPS games on the market today, there is no silly jump-shot kills, or simple bullet sprayers, accuracy is key. The hitboxes are also impressive, shooting someone with a massive sniper in the leg will slow their running but won't kill, any weapon whots to the chest or head are generally a kill. This one-shot mentality vastly improves the game immersion, and when coupled with the un-informative UI (You have no idea how many rounds you have left) It forms an excellent gaming experience. Don't hesitate to buy this game, it's unique game-modes and style are a definite win.

Absolutely incredible game, AI of characters is un-parallel. Fairly impressive story line with a dramatic twist at the end, A must-have for any serious gamer. Definitely one of the games of 2013! (Fairly Heavy on the old PC Power, but I've tested and the game looks stunning even in low settings).
