I upgraded my CPU as there was a deal on a Ryzen 9 5950x. Returning to this game now meeting the recommended specs and screen tearing and low FPS are still a large issue.

While I am enjoying the game its in need of some serious optimisation. Turning the presets to low and I still had a lot of tearing/stuttering. I've been playing VR games for a while so while it didn't effect me to much I wouldn't be recommending this till that stuff is sorted. Will continue playing though and update this if the devs fix this as its in early development and they seem to be pretty active. Unsure how much they read/care about reviews though.

You've seen all the reviews about the developer removing steam workshop support. But they also can't seem to fix issues like the game always displaying in flatscreen mode. I've been dealing with this problem for months and all of the posts everywhere point to using a third party app to force OpenXR runtime, when that is the only runtime I have on my PC.

I think I need to preface this review by saying this game isn't for everyone, and while that's true, I still think everyone should play it, or at least its free alpha you can find online.

With that out of the way, this is the best singleplayer experience I have played in recent years. With a story that while told by Mobius Digital, was about you. Your adventure, your discoveries, your faults and most importantly your curiosity. If you lack curiosity then you'd probably not enjoy this game as much as others.

The music in this game is out of this world sorry, and while staying the same, shifts its feeling as you discover more about the solar system you enhabit. The final song almost bring me to tears as I knew the adventure was over, and the story was ending.

And then that's it. Once you complete this game, there is not much more. There is some replay ability, speed runs, achievement hunting. But realistically, you wont play it again (or at least in the same way), and that makes me sad because I loved it so much, and will never be able to do it again.

Its a video game where you shoot people and then get shot. Don't get shot and you win. I like this

One of the best RST games ive played, most defently the best Supreme Commander, And for the price? You got some much!
If you are looking online i suggest looking up FFA (Froged Alliance Forever) for good games and stuff :)
