In 2024, it is still impossible to play this game on Linux, due to the developers REFUSING to refactor their engine to accommodate Easy Anti Cheat's Proton API.

That game was functional, using EAC, until 2022. All of a sudden it stopped being functional, you get kicked by EAC after one minute of online play according to all forums; and the official answer from the devs are "It is impossible for us to make EAC work on Linux", which is a straight up lie; I play video games with way better anti-cheats, and way more AAA than this, on my Linux machine, without a single issue or manual configuration.

That is how actually easy Proton made Linux gaming possible. Just needs devs to update their engines. Refusing to update your engine for a glitch cutting you out from thousands of potential players, because you seem lost in 2014.

We've been playing competitive shooters on Linux with as much safety and more performance than on Windows since 2019. Enjoy the refund; the dev team shows no actual capacity to take this project to anything substancial if a simple engine refactor is too much to ask after 2 years.
