Game is not bad, the card system is a cool idea, but the UI hurts to look at. Nothing really sticks out enough for me to want to continue playing it, and there's just too many games out there to recommend an OK one.

Matchmaking ruined this game that I really enjoyed on release. Now it's slap your enemies into orbit or get slapped. When I started seeing a very consistent pattern in win/losses, even after trying to approach the game very differently trying new characters, etc. I decided it was time to stop wasting my time doing the same thing over and over.

This game was really solid, overall a good 8/10 game, the only reason I have to give it a not recommend is I got to the second to last level, and then ran into crashes at the same point consistently, and after verifying the integrity of the files, got softlocked on a different part of the mission. Got most of the way through an otherwise great game, was pushing to get the ending, then got stuck.

Was good, all 25 minutes of it.

This has potential to be a bigger thing, but even as is very enjoyable.

A lot of reviews for this game say it's literally a life altering experience that reshapes your vision of the world and makes you cry.

It didn't hit the same way for me. I thought it was good but just that, a decent one time adventure with a solid soundtrack, I don't think I'll ever play this a second time but I'll pop up the soundtrack every once in a while.

It also took just over an hour for me to finish, so I'd definitely recommend picking it up on a sale or something instead of at full price.

Was a little skeptical about some of the changes from the previous games, but everything about this game feels awesome to play. 12/10

This game got me very immersed in it and had me dumping multiple hours in at a time without getting old. It definitely scratches a nostalgia itch if you played the ps2 Spider-Man games, and I found myself actually wanting to 100% it.

Controls took a little getting used to at first, so I was a little skeptical but once I got the hang of it, it felt great to do just about everything. Even sections that are mostly on rails or quick time events feel great which isn't very common.

There are a few issues that I encountered though. There were crashes whenever the game started certain dialogue or cutscenes, fortunately there were autosaves usually only a few seconds before. I had a few events where enemies got stuck in walls and I would have to try it again or find a way to unstick them. I had one boss fight in New Game+ where I was beating on the boss for about 20 minutes before I gave up and restarted, then dropped him in about 2 minutes.

Those issues are a little annoying but, not enough to not recommend the game, everything else about it is top tier, more than I expected it to be.

Sanctum is an interesting, unique, and addicting game.

Simply put, it's a Tower Defense game combined with some elements of an FPS in a way that works really well. It has a wonderful sci-fi art style and everything in the game just about has an interesting design to it. It has some really calming music as you play that still fits the style perfectly, the gameplay itself is great, and offers plenty of challenge without being too extreme, it definitely has some of the best replay value of anything I've played in a long time. You can play it for hours at a time or just for a few minutes and enjoy it just as much. The only thing that may be seen negatively is the fact that it doesn't have a story to it, but for the type of game it is it really doesn't need one. It's truly underrated compared to Goat Simulator which the developers get plenty of attention for.

10/10 completely recommend.
