A good port of what in 2021 is in all honesty a terrible port of DoDonPachi DaiOuJou.

It's as if Botticelli was resurrected through some sort of cloning technique, and asked to re-do The Birth of Venus but using Microsoft Paint. The result would be fantastic for what it is and reminiscent of the original, but definitely not quite right.

I do sort of love it though? I reckon if I down a six pack of Stella and snort a vindaloo, I could probably play this and hallucinate a world where Cave was releasing its back catalogue on Steam at last, and perhaps for a while the world would be a better place.
