so the game is still the exact same thing as before. youre still stumbling all over the place, getting caught on random pieces of furniture and falling flat on your face, and slamming zombies in the face with an axe blade that does next to no damage while they swing a 2x4 at you and 2 shot you.

DO NOT GET THIS GAME. we waited ~14 months for a single update. the games update was teased several months ago but given ONLY to people who bought the game before it was a game over on kickstarter. we were TOLD we would get the patch soon, ~ 4 months later and bam. were hit with the patch. but is iot the patch the kickstarter people got? NOPE. heres what we got:

a few more pallete swaps of items
a few more weapons/armor that are trash tier and not worth using
a companion who has worse AI and control than an elder scrolls companion and starts fights with groups of zombies like its going out of style, but cant fight worth a damn
who even knows? i cant get past the 2nd floor since theres only 1 healing potiont up to that point and i always end up at ~10% health left by then. lord forbid they remove that red health cancer.

heres what the kickstarter folks were given:
new enemies
new weapons. like a ton of them.
new armor. once again, a ton of them. not just a couple pallete swaps.
new graphics
a bunch of other crap that we did NOT get. we got a watered down version of their patch. we got less than 1/4 of the content we were promised, and HAD TO WAIT A YEAR AND A HALF TO GET IT.


stay far far away. the game is busted as all hell and barely works, and will be abandoned soon. at this point their just hoping they can milk some new customers in because the funding for their "sui genesis" garbage is never going to happen at this rate. ignore the company for the future, they have big pipe dreams but no idea how to actually implement them, and clearly no understanding of what makes games good or fun.

PROTIP: its not walking around like youre drunk and swinging bladed weapons that hit like wet noodles.

its essentially just ripping off the game Mortal Online in every way, but with far worse graphics, load times, UI, and nowhere near the detail in the building/crafting skills. oh. and you can play Mortal for free. this here is just a scam.

Pretty bland. uses alot of stock RPG maker parts, a generic "silent protagonist" to save time, and you know. lack of writing skills.

actual in game dialogue is like 50 total lines.
actul story dosent exist. hits you with the egeneric "main character is the cause of this" literally immediately after talking about a "heart of the castle" or whatever.

has some specially drawn scenes, like 3 or 4 of them. but they ALL look terrible. my favorite is how the final boss gets his own little intro image. and it looks absolutely nothing like his in game sprite.

literally copies the main castle map from The Fairy, The Succubus, and The Abyss. dosent even TRY to rearange it any.

gameplay is okay, but to grind monsters(which youll never need to do since every enemy can be killed in at most, 2 hits. final boss included.) you have to leave the dugeon and return. game has no balance whatsoever, as soon asyou get tripple triad or whatever the hell its called, its GG. you win.

its an okay rpg maker generic low effort game. for free. ITS NOT WORTH PAYING FOR. THIS ISNT EVEN UP TO LAXIUS POWER STANDARDS.

though the screentshots look decent, the game actually looks quite terrible when you actually play it. it has 2 scaling options: a tiny square box in the center of the screen, where the game looks decent, and actually utilizing your screen, where the game looks like complete garbage. from there we hav the option of adding "interpolation(bilinear)" which just blurs the entire image so bad its worse than just playing in proper full screen.

the reason for this, and many other issues, is that they are using rpg maker 2003. a VERY outdated version of rpg maker that only the cheapest of cheapskates would waste time or money on at this point.

controls are the generic rpg maker controls because the guy couldnt be bothered to learn how the engine works, and even though scripting has always been 100% possible for every iteration of rpg maker, he claims this one dosent allow it simply because he has no idea how to use the program.

cant tell you how the story gets, because i have standards and if a game dont meet em i return that pile o' crap. this one dosent meet them. i require that in this day and age, a game does not use a 4:3 ratio since NOBODY HAS A 4:3 MONITOR ANYMORE. i require that if there is controller support and its a 2d game, that i can use my d-pad for navigation, as the joystick only ends up making you go places you dont want to go.

this is another case of somebody with next to no knowledge of a heavilly outdated engine (any rpg maker) pumping out some cheap bunch of barely any effort.

Terrible low quality, no effort mobile port trash. lets begin shall we?

first thing youll notice is that 2/3 of your screen is covered by black bars. this is not a resolution or scaling issue. they are always there, even in 640x480.

next, youll notice how EVERY TIME YOU CLICK THE MOUSE THERE IS A POP POP POP SOUND. as though you were on a cell phone.

oh look. a dress up game! too bad you can only dress up 1 character (who dosent fight BTW), and ALL clothing other than the starting clothing has to be crafted (which is on a TIME meter), AFTER unlocking it. thats right. every single hairstyle and clothing item is time gated. and it is the ONLY function of money in the game (other than increasing inventory slots).


good graphics though right? EVERYONE SAYS IT LOOKS GOOD! but what they MEEN, is that the single animu waifu dressup doll is well drawn. too bad she only has 1 pose. too bad all the other wiafus cant be dressed up, or have more than 1 image. oh the battles look good right? NOPE. they look like trash. oh sure when you get near the end of the very short game (see mobile game with stamina/cooldown timers, and stamina removed.) things start looking ALMOST up to par with every other mobile game on the market, which is about up to par with an SNES game made by some 3rd party no name chinese developer. but do you really wanna sit through 3 hours of POPOOPOPOPOPOPOPOP as you mash click through the text boxes?

oh yeh. the text boxes. these are great. they take up a good 1/5th of the screen, and NEVER have more than 1-2 sentences. so 90% unused space thats just this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gradient box over the whole image.


best part of all? the game sets off anti virus flags left and right, the developer suggests turning OFF your anti cirus, and then says he dosent suggest it. typical asian developer who dosent give 2 ♥♥♥♥♥ and a ♥♥♥♥ sickle about the quality of their game.

complete trash. it uses a ton of music from actual bands that i highly doubt it has any legal rights to use. all the controls are completely unresponsive, from moving, to jumping, to attacking. sometimes they work, sometimes they dont. it has NOTHING to do with stamina. sometimes when you attack enemies, nothing happens. but every enemy can easilly kill you and will hit every time they swing their "wepon". even if they are nowhere near you.

you collect money to level up, but the level ups are pointless. you can only recover health by spending all your money at a shop and hoping its random drop is health. its usually 30 different crappy wepons you cant get rid of however, and then have to cycle through every time you pick up something new, to find the highest attack again. usually youlll have to cycle multiple times, since the wepon or relics effect/stats are displayed for all of 1/10th of a second most of the time. increasing strength slightly increase damage, you can increase dodge roll "speed" which dosent actually seem to do anything, and increase your health. even with max health, youll die in no time at all. even with all the perks (which you can only buy 1 of each death, regardless of your money), you dont stand a chance. you can eventually eat corpses i you cheat enough money in (youre not doing this legit. dont lie.), but youll die about 1/3 of the time when you eat a corpse, and they provide hardly and health.

this game is complete trash. a waste of 99 cents. no responses from the developer can possibly change this. and i hope that the "developer" is stealing the music, so he can spend some time in prison away from "developing" "games".

stay FAR away. broken controller support that only works at the title screen. ONLY keyboard controls that dont always work. wasd is movement, but about 1/3 of the time when you start a fight, you can only move 1 direction at a time. so randomly, youll have NO diagnal movement. the "bosses" are just a bunch of pallette swaps. the music sounds like a cheap ripoff of various final fantasy songs. there are NO options, no configuration files, and its made in -shudder- unity. would have been really nice to be warned of that problem beforehand.

yeah, its 2$, but thats 2$wasted. your better off buying a cigar than this game. if you want a mindless button masher with terrible chinese facebook game graphics, no character customization, HORRIBLE translations that make absolutely no sense, and moonspeak all over the place instead of english, this is for you. if you want fun, quality software, this game is NOT for you.

completely worthless. combat is a joke. mash 1 button over and over, and decimate every nemy you ever run into. there is no difficulty, the graphics look like fable 1 quality, the dialog is forced and badly written, and the voice acting is in general complete ♥♥♥♥. quicktime events pop up left and right. if this game is on sale for 0.99$ then buy it, otherwis dont bother.

One of the biggest let downs ive ever had. I loved the first 2 DS games, and this came free with my old graphics card, a 550 ti. it looks decent enough, but plays boringly and has voice acting that grates on the nerves due to over accentuation. if you got the game for free, then no biggy. but paying for this load is a huge rip off.

meh. at first i was impressed, it looks great. the story seemed like it could be interesting. but then the main character started speaking more. his personality, or lack thereof, turned me off this game. that and the long open areas of nothing but like 3-5 re-spawning scripted enemies, makes this game a boring, albeit pretty romp through the woods. the gameplay itself isnt too bad, but inventory management gets a bit hectic, and youll end up ditching stuff thats pretty good alot, or holding onto crap you cant use for like 4 hours.
