I enjoyed the game at first, mostly because I was excited to try the next difficulty for better loot and harder fights. Sadly the devs didn't do anything special for the harder difficulties except the rarer loot. Dungeons and the AI are exactly the same every play through, they just went for the lazy tactic of making enemies tankier/ hit a little harder. You can equip whatever weapons/ armor you'd like on your character but there is no way to build around what you'd like to use on your class. So using things not recommended for your class just ends up nerfing you. Not worth your time or the disappointment. Play Outward instead for a coop experience with some build diversity.

This game was awesome when it was in Beta I paid cash to play it. But I'm not exactly sure if it was the publisher or the devs but someone made the decision to rush the game out instead of doing what they said they were going to do and essentially make a 40k planetside which just sounds wonderful. The new races came out and they were unbalanced. Now instead of fixing this game that i like a lot more than it deserved it is closing down. Now I just wished I would've played it more instead of waiting for it to be fixed :(

I bought the game 4/1 and immediately had the "internet connection could not connect to outriders servers" error upon login. I verified files. restarted my pc and my modem, and after a few more tries finally got in. The game was fun but I tried to get back on today to play some more and now I'm having the same problem. Except this time I cant make it work. However the most frustrating part of it is that my friends don't have this problem. They log in just fine and are able to play. So here I sit 60 dollars in the hole with a useless F-ing game. STOP BUYING GAMES ON RELEASE DAY, I'm saying this for myself and for anyone else who's on the fence. JUST WAIT. It makes no sense to me why my friends and I try to log in and they get in just fine and i'm stuck here sitting on my thumb. *Edit Connection issues fixed thank goodness. Now the patch we've all been waiting for. Wait whats this? THEY NERFED THE OTHER CLASSES?!?! ALL YOU IDIOTS NEEDED TO DO WAS BUFF DEVASTATORS WTF! I thought the game was about a power fantasy?? Ill let you know how crap it feels after i put some hours into it trying to see if my class is ruined but I am not happy about this at all.

This game is a breath of fresh air. It may look simple but has the potential for lots of complex maneuvers for skill based play, all the weapons feel unique and the map destruction is a blast. I'm digging it a lot, its really fun for a f2p fps!
