I have played through the campaign, am playing through it again with friends, and have played the same six coop missions for 25 hours in between. I'm still having a blast. It tickles my gooch to know that there is still yet more coming in development, and that I still have so much more armor to drip out with. Yes, the PvP is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥ IMO, but I'm not a big PvP player in most games so no real loss to me.

If you have the dosh to dole out and you liked playing Gears of War, War Z, Dynasty Warriors, or Vermintide 2 then I'm sure there are elements to this game that will hit you with that Ratatouille flashback moment.

Aesthetically, this game is terrifying which it should be. You're playing russian roulette with a freaking shotgun in some seedy back-alley rave psycho den hooked up to some sort of drug injecting life saving defibrillator that makes their games last longer, so yeah that would be a freaky place to be rightly so. Gameplay comes down to simple but effective items randomly given to both you and your NPC opponent that will help you deterine whether the gun is loaded, regain health, skip their next turn etc.. In the end it comes down to a choice. Do you shoot the dealer, or risk shooting yourself to shoot them with the next? Playing the odds is a great and addictive gamestyle when paired with great bumping bass tracks and a gory, edgy artstyle. 100% yes at this price, it's so worth it it's funny. It's not multiplayer... yet... I'm seeing recent updates that there's going to be multiplayer? SIGN ME THE HELL UP. GET THIS GAME, PLAY THE ODDS, WIN BIG OR LOSE IT ALL, GOOD GAME.

They fixed the many issues I was having on launch week. Everything about this game is liberty inducing.

This game is so good. If you've ever been curious about or been missing out on a Dungeons and Dragons style game, it's so worth it.

I'm breaking my main rule for reviewing games well, because let's face it, this game is only good with friends. There are public servers, but who the hell plays any hide and seek games with total strangers. Get a group of mates together in a discord call and verbally elbow jab each other with taunts and name calling. Of the prop hunt / hide and seek type games out there, this one is one of the most fun, putting the fun of hiding in the hiders hands with a plethora of funny tools available to the witches to cause maximum anarchy on the field. Yes, it really is only fun with friends in my opinion, but the level of fun I've had with said friends in this game seriously outweighs the amount of fun I've had among similar games with similar groups.

This game has the hunters set up at the perfect amount of disadvantage, having to hear the constant taunting of the hiders with rage festering in their gut. People say that these types of games should strive to make the hunting as fun, if not more fun, than hiding. I STRONGLY disagree. Hunting is akin to a punishment, a shortest straw role if you will. The people most excited to play should always be the hiders, and this game gives you plenty of arsenal as said hiders to troll and mess with the hunters at every moment.

Decoy props you can control the movement of, jump scare ghosts, and full on prop possession instead of just copying (you can possess a lantern that's actually hanging on a post for maximum blending in), and more. This game gives all the best toys for the role everyone WANTS to play. That's not to say that the hunters are just left out to dry, their detector chicken is one of the most useful tools I've seen among these types of games. But it will simply NEVER be more fun to hunt than to hide as a fact.

All in all I give it an 8.5/10 so long as you play with a decent group of blokes, if you don't have friends don't bother.

It's a very basic blend of Valheim survival and bosses, with a Diablo-esq top down perspective and map generation. Feels super generic and grindy to play. There are unique mechanics in the mix, but they aren't enough to carry the weight of everything else in the game. Not exciting, not interesting, very meh. Saying that a game like this is better with friends is a bad excuse, as pretty much anything can be fun with your friends regardless, and for far cheaper than $20. I don't recommend. I was extremely bored, unchallenged, and unstimulated by any of the features presented by this game.

This game plays like if terraria and Stardew Valley had a child. All my favorite mechanics from both games, all mashed together in a seamless and fun experience.

Cool app, though it would be nice if they included some normal instruments. These VR ones are cool and all, and they can do some wacky ♥♥♥♥, but a regular piano could bring this up a long way in terms of viability. It's a pain in the ass to tune up the Ooooooooorgan whatever you want to call it and the other instruments aren't far off with tuning them manually. There are lots of features for each of the instruments, that all do wacky crazy ♥♥♥♥, but they all sound samey bloopy whatever kinda bad. The tones and variations all sound either samey, or just ear gratingly aweful like wompets.
