Sony has undone the account linking requirement as of May 6th, you may now continue dispensing democracy!

As a veteran Dead Space fan I cant really say there's a lot of things that I prefer from the original over this remake aside from some very minor nitpicky things. It improves on pretty much everything from the original game. I love the backporting of DS2 mechanics into this game as well. I think it would be very hard to go back to the original after playing this.

Honestly????
This game being what it was at launch I certainly understand why people want to stay away from this game, I was definitely in the crowd for a long time after getting pretty burned out by this game's launch. That being said this game really has come a long way since its launch, and honestly it's story beats, setting, combat, and world building has gotten me waaay more engaged with this game than a lot of other contemporaries like it that have come out recently, Fallout 4, outer worlds, and now Starfield.

It's just a really solid game now, even aside from the small bugs and quirks you might still find here and there, I find it funny how my car still spasms the ♥♥♥♥ out if i hit another one at just the right angle sometimes, but overall is leaps and bounds better than it was.

Games honestly great, if you can nab it on sale its for the most part a straight imrpovement from the first game. I keep seeing reviews saying that the game is "much harder" than the first game or that the tutorials or are annoying and honestly I havent really encountered anything like that. Personally I think the game is far easier than the first game.I am only a few hours into the career mode and aside from a few tracks the game is much more fun than the first one imo.

Good gaem

Probably one of the best shooters I've played in recent years.

This game's combat loop is some of the most satisfying I've seen in a long time. It's a bit like 2016 Doom, however there is a HUGE increase of demons to fight per arena, and the game is far, far harder than 2016 as a result. However, the increased difficulty is offset by the immense amount of tools at your disposal.

Despitethe power fantasy/berserker gameplay setting, the game requires an immense amount of strategy in combat, now more than ever there is a huge emphasis on prioritizing enemies for health, armor, and ammo. This game has an insanely high skill ceiling, and even as someone who plays a lot of shooters, it is extremely difficult (played on Ultra Violence), but not in an unfair way. Dying in this game is ususally your own fault, and the game rarely ever puts you in situations where it feels unfair. The Slayer Gates are some of the most challenging, yet gratifying things to accomplish in the game, especially if you do them right as you find them instead of coming back to it later.

Highly, highly reccomend it, even if you're not a Doom fan.

Absoulute blast of a game to play, its nice to see a modern 3d platformer/collectathon that isn't a Mario game.
The mechanics, while simple, offer a suprising amount of depth with stuff like dive canceling, etc. Only real complaints are how short the game is, and that the wall jumping is a bit weird, but otherwise its a very fun game to play.

If you're looking for a game like Mario 64/Sunshine this is definitely the game for you

I really wanted to like this game, but to be honest the combat is very clunky, sound design isn't the best and overall it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

The game has potential, but in its current state I can't really say I enjoyed it that much.

This game has changed so much, its crazy to look at videos or screenshots from 2013 and compare to what it is now. While this game is pretty grindy, if you can get past that you're in for a real treat.
I have two accounts for this game; one on Xbox, which I started on first; and now one here.
I ususally don't like starting over in games like this, and although its a bit tedious starting over, I don't mind it all that much because I still really enjoy the game

Honestly the game itself while fun, gets a bit stale. However the modding community of this game keeps it fresh
