An absolutely addictive game with an insane degree of replay value thanks to the different styles of play and modding ability. You can constantly experiment with new options and restart to try out different biomes. You absolutely need this game if you enjoy a more personal style of city management and trying to figure out how the please the various needs of your colonists, and this game is full of organic storytelling thanks to the procedurally generated events (one colonist randomly showed up to join my colony and turned out to be the husband of one of the tribal faction leaders, who he hated because he was a misogynist and she was a woman).

The game can have a very steep learning curve, and needs a bit of dedication to get into. I played it off and on for about fifty hours over a year before I really got into it. Dealing with the random events like toxic fallout or diseases can require you to think on your feet and it can be enjoyable, but personally I find dealing with raids tends to be an annoying drag the majority of the time, and some random events will just screw you (plague hits right after a bad raid, tribal gives your power armored soldier permanent brain damage with a shortbow).

Absolutely love this game, and now that it's in 1.0, fully recommend it. Nine hats out of ten.

This DLC has a lot of problems, and as of right now I can't say I would recommend it. It is an extremely buggy and unpolished mess.

When I was fighting the second phase of the first boss, the boss did a backstep through a wall and fell to his death. That was it.
I have also been booted to the title screen several times for "lacking the license to play the DLC". I am playing offline, so it is unlikely this has anything to do with my connection.

I find the enemy design to be well done and challenging, but the angels are not well implemented and I can say sections with them are just not fun.

The environments and levels are quite nice, if that's important.

As of right now this DLC is too broken to recommend.
