This game is a marvel of creative sandboxes. The small development team at Axolot really created something wonderful in Scrap Mechanic. I would completely recommend this game to anyone who wants to build in a complex virtual environment. There is a good selection of pieces to build from in the vanilla game, but the mod community has poured their love into this title, any mod that a player could want exists. There is three mods to build in, and two to play in. You can build in a creative world with unlimited parts, in a challenge world where you design a task and can give others limited parts, or you can design your own terrain for the creative world. Once Survival mode releases this will be the only game I play in my spare time. The dev team are really trying to capture lightning with survival. They are taking their time to make sure every detail is right for when they release the early access. If you are someone who doesn't mind waiting for content then this game is perfect, if you are a little inpatient then this is still a great game, but if you can not find it in yourself to wait for the devs to put out more content and patches then I would still say give it a shot!
