If you have any interest in the cRPG genre, Tyranny is a must-play. The writing is incredible, the politics are well-thought, the personalities are robust, and figuring out your place in a world where the evil Overlord has 'won' is worth mulling. Every time I thought I resolved to play the game one way, another option or character might change my mind - access to resources in the mess of governing feels accurate and my actions always felt like they had an impact. Tyranny isn't a perfect game, but the number of times it gets difficult things right is astounding. The isometric cRPG genre is coming back and talent-packed games like Tyranny show off why this genre is worth your time and your money.
