I'm a huge fan of the Xcom Series,
The base game alone will satisfy you for hours on end and leave you wanting more,
add in the ability to mod it with anything from mission, Troops or vanity iteam to full scale conversions
and this game has everything you need to lose all of your free time playing it.

If you desire more of a challenge, i highly reccomend the Long War 2 mod,
Ramps up the difficulty and campaign length for a whole new monster of a game!
